The 411
Liza Huber, daughter of daytime legend Susan Lucci, grew up in Garden City on Long Island, where she was a competitive equestrian and a high school cheerleader. She did her undergraduate work at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she received a degree in communications with a specialty in film production.
She made her television debut in Lifetime Television's original film EBBIE, which starred her mother in the title role. A PASSIONS original cast member, Huber left the show in 2001 when she quit acting to return to New York and pursue a carreer in fashion (and be near her fiancé at the time). However, after that relationship ended and realizing she missed her first love, she returned to PASSIONS in 2002.
Huber was Miss Golden Globe at the 2000 Golden Globe Awards, a celebrity judge at the 2004 Miss USA pageant, and has appeared on HOLLYWOOD SQUARES. She signed with the Ford Modeling Agency for commercial work. An avid skier and golfer, Huber also serves on the Junior Committee to support the child care agency Little Flowers Children's Services of New York.

"We all need a good kick in the pants every now and then to learn who we are." — Weekly, 1/21/03
