The 411
Bree Williamson made her U.S. television debut when she landed the role of Jessica Buchanan on ONE LIFE TO LIVE in 2003. She had more pressure than most soap newcomers as a recast for fan favorite Erin Torpey, who played Jessica for 13 years. Prior to OLTL, Williamson had a few minor roles on Canadian television.
While auditioning and doing the occasional modeling gig, Williamson remained busy attending the University of Toronto and graduating with a dual degree in psychology and women's studies. She also helped out at the clothing stores she founded with her older sister, Tarra, and worked as a sexual health counselor at Planned Parenthood.
In 2005, Williamson got engaged to and married Josh Evans. The two met while surfing in Costa Rica. Williamson announced their separation in June 2007.
