THE 411

Born in Gardena, California, Billy Warlock is a staunch Aries who loves a good golf game and some quality time on the ski slopes.

Warlock's acting career began after he caught director Garry Marshall's eye while doing a stint as a stunt double for Robin Williams on MORK & MINDY. Six months later, Billy scored the part of Flip Phillips on another hit Marshall venture — HAPPY DAYS. Warlock's acting days over the 1980s and 1990s were happy indeed as he shined in myriad daytime and primetime roles, doing guest spots on everything from 21 JUMP STREET (1989) to DIAGNOSIS MURDER (1999) and taking on the controversial role of Lyle Menendez in the 1994 TV movie based on the 1989 murders of Jose and Kitty Menendez.

2005 saw him making the transition from GENERAL HOSPITAL back to his old stomping grounds, DAYS OF OUR LIVES. Warlock left Salem again in 2006. He took up residence in Genoa City as Jack Abbott's campaign manager, Ben Hollander, on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS in 2007.

ET CETERA

—His favorite cocktail is vodka & soda.
—He loves Krispy Kreme doughnuts.

MEMORABLE QUOTES

"I've had worse split-ups with roommates fighting over a toaster than I had when I divorced Marcy [Walker]. Don't get me wrong, it was heartache for a while. But you get over it."— Soap Opera Weekly, 3/29/05.

"I always used to say, 'I don't care if I have 10 scenes or one scene. But please [throw] me one pitch down the middle, let me hit it out of the park and I will go home. I don't want to be the star of your show. I just want to come in, do some work and go home.' But AJ [was] a plot-driven character. He was there to do one thing and serve one purpose. As an actor, it just got stale."— Soap Opera Weekly, 4/13/04
