Tabitha worried that Pilar knew her witchy secret, as Kay tried to dissuade her future mother-in-law's suspicions about Tabitha being a witch. Kay laughed off the idea but Pilar wasn't so sure. She eventually decided to drop it, but Kay confided the dilemma to Miguel. He reminded Kay of her vow to quit the magic habit altogether.
Gwen confided in her mother that she's afraid she'll never get rid of Theresa's memory. Rebecca reminded her daughter that Theresa is shark bait and told her to stop worrying. Beccs suggested burning all of Theresa's possessions.
Ethan moped about the "dead" Theresa to Sam and Ivy. He said he doesn't want to stop missing her. Ivy tried to convince her son to move forward with his life, for the sake of the kids. Ethan knew Ivy was pushing Gwen on him. He agreed he was willing "to settle for Gwen." He said he didn't mean to disrespect his wife, but he noted that Theresa was a force of nature and no other woman could compare to her.
In Mexico, Juanita fired a gun into the crate, telling the police officer she didn't care who was hiding inside — she doesn't take chances. She then opened the crate, but found nothing. She was convinced there was "a human rat" afoot. Meanwhile, Theresa scrambled to get away.
Noah brought Paloma balloons and proposed. All the romance gave Tabitha a headache. An overjoyed Paloma said yes. They kissed and two balloons popped.
Then, as a pair of green eyes stared, the other two balloons popped. Pilar was worried that the balloon popping was a bad omen for the betrothed. "Double wedding is still on!" Kay exclaimed. She then pulled Tabby aside and asked what happened with the balloons. Tabitha claimed ignorance but Kay feared the Demon Elf was back. "What elf?" asked Miguel. Tabby laughed off the name as a pet moniker for one of Endora's young friends. Miguel suggested talking a walk down to the pier for hot cocoa. Noah and Paloma agreed to join them for some saltwater taffy. Paloma bid the kids a good night and left. Once everyone was gone, Tabitha realized the evil elf was back.
On the run, Theresa met a young woman who was hoping to sneak into the U.S.
The girls agreed to make the journey into the States together. As they scoped out trains, Theresa introduced herself to Elena. Then, she heard Juanita's voice closing in and panicked. Juanita vowed to find Theresa. As she and the crooked cop lingered, Theresa heard a train whistle. "Don't leave without me!' she whispered to herself.
Ivy went to visit Rebecca and Gwen. The women drank champagne and toasted Theresa's demise. Ivy felt bad that Ethan was so miserable. Rebecca and Ivy then shared memories of being married to Julian. Gwen vowed to make Ethan happy, and Rebecca then proposed a toast to the shark that ate Theresa.

In Mexico, Theresa lurked behind the storage boxes on the train and called out for her new friend Elena. She screamed when someone came up behind her, but it just turned out to be her pal. The train took off and Elena asked Theresa why she was sneaking around. Theresa filled in a very patient Elena on her sordid life story. Later, Theresa fell asleep and dreamed about being with Ethan.
At Tabitha's, Tabby called out for the Demon Elf, but couldn't find him. She peeked in her magic bowl to see what was going to happen in Harmony. The bowl responded by hitting her in the face with a pie and spraying her with champagne. It then rang a little bell. Tabby concluded that there was going to be a future wedding fiasco.
Julian paid Esme a visit at the Crane mansion. Esme, wearing sexy lingerie, lounged across her bed, eager to see him. Later, they enjoyed a fun romp, while dressed in costumes. Well, we do know how much Julian loves those!
Ethan admitted to Sam that he wasn't sure he could get over Theresa. Sam then discussed the serial killer case with his son and admitted that he couldn't figure out who the attacker was. Sam concluded that whoever the person was wanted Esme to himself or herself. Later, Sam and Ethan interrupted Esme and Julian to question them about the attacker, but made a hasty exit when they saw what the pair was up to. After, the lovebirds joined Ethan and Sam in the living room to see if they could help them find the culprit. Esme was confident that Sam would catch the person. After, Esme and Julian had another encounter, while dressed as a German and his beer maiden. Meanwhile, Viki brandished a knife and contemplated her next move.

Luis took a blindfolded Fancy up to his bedroom for some romantic time alone. Fancy was touched by the gesture, but hoped the blindfold didn't mean he wanted to play a particular children's game. They fell onto the bed and hit the sheets. After, Fancy relaxed in Luis's arms and apologized for her bizarre behavior. Later, they enjoyed a nice dinner together in the room and looked forward to their future together.
Meanwhile at Sheridan's place, Sheridan and Pretty lamented the fact that Luis and Fancy were getting along so well. Sheridan though Pretty should be grateful she was stopped from murdering Paloma, but Pretty accused Sheridan of ruining her plan. Sheridan stood by her decision to keep a murder from happening. Pretty argued that the Cranes don't have to worry about being good or evil and can just do what they want. The ladies then argued over who Luis would be with if he weren't with Fancy. Sheridan regretted giving up Luis when he was hers. Pretty stated that unless Sheridan helped her, she'd never win back Luis.
Ethan made some calls in Mexico to see if a presumed-dead Theresa ended up in a hospital in the area. Gwen was frustrated that he was still searching for her and complained to Rebecca about it. Rebecca urged her not to give up on winning Ethan's love. "You have to run him down, run him over!" she yelled, then instructed her daughter to have "mind-blowing, amazing, pulsating sex." Gwen was horrified to hear her mom discuss this. "Some mothers can teach you how to make an apple pie, but that's not me," Becks shrugged. After, Gwen again encouraged Ethan to give up on finding Theresa. Later, Rebecca noted to Gwen that Theresa is going to stay "alive" in Ethan's memory unless Gwen takes drastic action and sleeps with him.
Meanwhile, a shrouded Theresa arrived on the docks of Harmony (which looked suspiciously like the docks of Mexico) and looked forward to returning home.
However, she planned to continue pretending she was dead in order to protect them. She watched her loved ones through her iPhone and sobbed. As she watched Gwen hover over Ethan, she vowed not to let Gwen get to him. Later, Theresa sadly watched from afar as a sad Ethan spouted off a sad monologue about his lost love. "I look at the stars and I don't even see them anymore because I miss you," he sighed. Awww.
