At Tabitha's, Demon Elf returned and destroyed the kitchen. Yay, Elfie's back! Elfie vowed to make her pay for interfering with his evildoing. Kay and Tabitha entered the kitchen and wondered why it was a mess. Kay explained that her kettle suddenly exploded. Tabitha then found some finger prints and called for Elfie. "Come out, you evil little lawn gnome!" she demanded. Hey, I wonder if Elfie knows the Travelocity gnome? Tabby realized that Kay summoned "this rancid blob of road kill" with the magic bowl. Kay explained that it was an accident. Elfie then began annoying the women by clanging pots together and singing a well-known song. Kay called him "an off-key Smurf." Tabby threatened to feed Elfie to Fluffy. Tabitha wanted to use magic to get rid of him, but Kay reminded her that they couldn't. They tried to get rid of him by burning incense, but that didn't work. Suddenly, the house began shaking and Elfie began coughing —and he finally disappeared. Kay was thrilled that they'd managed to vanquish him without using magic.

At the Crane mansion, Julian, Sam and Esme tried to get some more clues about the attacker. Sam concluded that the person was coming after Esme. Julian was willing to risk his life to catch the killer by pretending to sleep with Esme. Esme was turned on by Julian's bravery and kissed him. "You know, there are some things a cop should never have to see," Sam thought to himself. After, as he skulked around the manse, Sam ran into Ivy. She began to kiss him, but he reminded her that he was on "official business." Ivy didn't care. "I have work to do," he said. "Hard work, I'll bet," she replied. They ended up sleeping together, but Sam remembered that he was supposed to be tracking the attacker. He returned to Esme's room, where she and Julian planned to get "started" on their night together. Meanwhile, Ivy waited for Sam downstairs in the living room as the attacker watched her from the doorway.

Juanita was disappointed that Pilar didn't die after the boat explosion. Luis and Miguel wondered why Juanita had issues with their mother. Juanita simply vowed (yet again) to get revenge on Pilar.... Meanwhile, by the wharf, Ethan tried to save Theresa, who was flailing around in the water with the sharks.... Gwen pleaded with Luis to rescue Ethan from the dangerous ocean waters. Juanita wondered why Ethan was so important to Gwen. Rebecca then called Gwen and was disappointed to hear that Theresa wasn't dead yet. Juanita overheard Gwen talking to Rebecca when Gwen accidentally put her phone on speaker and realized that the ladies had been blackmailing Pilar. Rebecca was alarmed to hear that Gwen was with Juanita and hung up. After, Juanita informed Gwen that she knows her secret. She threatened to expose Gwen and Rebecca if Gwen didn't release her. Juanita warned Gwen that she'd never be with Ethan.... In the ocean, Ethan and Theresa declared their love for one another. Ethan explained that he got a call from a mystery woman, warning him that Theresa was in Mexico. Theresa was relieved to hear that Pilar was safe. She then screamed as a shark approached them. Later, a shirtless Luis and Miguel went out in a boat to search for Ethan and Theresa. Theresa began to drift away. Ethan tried to grab her, but she disappeared from his view. Ethan cried out for her, to no avail. Miguel and Luis then retrieved a body from the water that was caught in a fish net. They brought the body back to shore.

In Mexico, Luis and Miguel dragged a body, wrapped in a fish net, to the wharf. Gwen and Juanita hoped it was Theresa's body. Gwen was devastated when it turned out to be Ethan's and frantically performed CPR on him. Miguel cornered Juanita and asked her why she wanted Pilar and Theresa dead. Gwen was relieved when Ethan awakened, but the first thing he asked for was Theresa. He wanted to continue searching for her, but Miguel and Luis said they'd do it. All three guys were shirtless, by the way. Nice!.... Meanwhile, a shivering Theresa floated in the ocean and called for Ethan. She begged for him to find her as a shark approached her. Luis and Miguel returned to their boat and headed out into the water, but they didn't see any sign of Theresa. Ethan wanted to join the guys, but was too weak to move. After, Pilar approached Gwen and slapped her; she blamed Gwen for their predicament and vowed to make her and Rebecca pay. Juanita announced that tragedy would come to all of their lives and told Gwen that even if Theresa were dead, Ethan wouldn't want to be with Gwen. Pilar replied that Juanita is going to jail. Later, Miguel and Luis returned to the wharf but without their sister.... A wet and injured Theresa managed to get out of the ocean and climbed onto a wharf.... Luis got a call from the search team, who reported that they couldn't find Theresa. Ethan believed she was out there and yelled for her.

The Demon Elf reappeared in Tabitha's kitchen, even after it seemed she and Kay had vanquished him. Elfie enjoyed himself as he used magic to break all of Tabby's dishes. Tabby threatened to feed him to Fluffy. He stopped for a moment, then attacked Tabitha's curtains. They were interrupted when Paloma and Noah barged in. They were arguing over him kissing Fancy. They demanded that Kay and Tabitha solve their argument and were so distracted, they didn't even notice the chaos around them. Later, Noah noted that strange things keep happening around them. He insisted that he loves Paloma, but she couldn't forgive him.... Tabitha and Kay continued to brainstorm ways to get rid of Elfie.

At the Crane mansion, Ivy was stabbed by Viki. Sam stood over her as he called backup. Viki was pleased that she'd distracted Sam from his investigation. Ivy was surprised when it was Esme who patched up her arm. Esme explained that she took a crash course in first aid when she became Viki's guardian. Viki went to hide, and the rest of the group heard a dragging noise; Julian wondered if the attacker was lugging a body. "I feel like we're living in an Agatha Christie murder mystery," stated Ivy. After, Sam spied Rebecca packing a trunk and questioned her about Ivy's attack. Rebecca denied stabbing Ivy.... Viki emerged from her room and let Esme "comfort" her. Later, Viki planned to kill Julian.

In Mexico, things were tense as Pilar wondered whether Theresa was alive. Pilar blamed Juanita and slapped her. Juanita wasn't fazed. Pilar then turned her attention to Gwen and berated her for letting Ethan get hurt. "What kind of love is that?" Pilar asked. Meanwhile, Ethan, Luis and Miguel worried about Theresa, as well. The brothers wanted to pray for her, but Ethan believed she was alive. He blamed himself for not getting her to shore.... On another area of the wharf, an injured Theresa tried to crawl toward them, but collapsed.... Juanita told Gwen that even if Theresa dies, Ethan will blame her for Theresa's death. Gwen tried to comfort Ethan, to no avail. Juanita encouraged Gwen to stay in Mexico and run.... Miguel asked Pilar why Juanita tried to kill her and Theresa. Later, Ethan heard Theresa calling for him and they happily reunited. Theresa then blamed Gwen and Rebecca for their predicament and filled in Ethan about how Pilar was being blackmailed. She also finally told him that Little Ethan is his son. Gwen admitted that everything Theresa said was true. Ethan reamed out Gwen for her betrayal and intended to sue for full custody of Jonathan. He and Theresa then kissed.

Paloma used a computer and tried to find out where her missing family members, but became sad as she eyed a photo of herself and Noah. She was surprised when she found Noah standing below the window holding up signs saying, "I can't live without you" and "Please let me explain." Paloma met him outside and asked him to leave. He again blamed Fancy for coming on to him. Paloma threatened to get the cops if Noah didn't leave. He refused to go and begged her to talk to him. Later, he climbed up the side of the office building so he could meet her at her window. She again demanded he leave, but when he tried to get down, the scaffolding he was standing on, wouldn't budge. It then suddenly plummeted with him on it. Paloma freaked out.

At Tabitha's the Demon Elf took a nap while Tabitha stared into her magic bowl and commented on today's current music scene. She critiqued one popular musician, stating that this person needed a good exorcism and a good hairdresser. "People who live in glass houses shouldn't pass stones," Elfie said to himself. Love Elfie's scary puppet doll, by the way. Sure beats sleeping with a cuddly stuffed animals! Kay scolded Tabby for using her magic bowl; Tabitha argued that she wasn't "using" it, she was just watching it. She suggested that Kay look into it to see what was going on with Miguel. Kay did, and saw the gang in Mexico. She and Tabby realized that Theresa wasn't there. Kay asked the bowl to show her Theresa, but it wouldn't. After, they discussed why Noah would cheat on Paloma with Fancy. Tabitha concluded that Alistair was pushing Fancy and Noah together in order to break up Fancy and Luis. They watched Noah in the bowl; Kay gasped in horror when she saw her brother fall from the window.
