Esme and Jake were giddy after having sex at the Book Café. At the Crane mansion, she started crying when she was reminded that Fox and the cat guy died. She told Jake to leave. He was confused since they had been having so much fun together. "Every man that I get close to ends up dead," she explained. She dramatically wept and chugged liquor as she told him about previous instances of men around her dying in events that sounded like accidents. "You're not a jinx," Jake told her, claiming he felt perfectly safe being with her. A mysterious person opened the door and peeked in on the kissing duo. Esme changed her tune and was anxious to continue having a good time with the cop. When they stepped into her closet, the gloved person poured something into Jake's beer. Esme returned to the room dressed like a cowgirl. She grabbed Jake's drink, but dropped it when Cowboy Jake approached her. The liquid fizzed on the carpet, but they were too busy in bed to worry about it.

Sheridan yelled at Luis saying it was his fault that she lost Marty again. She slapped him across the face. Sher showed Luis the T-shirt she found in the motel with Marty's name on it. She told Luis he's a horrible father. "Martin is 'Father of the Year' compared to you," she barked. Sheridan was furious that Luis didn't believe anything she said, including that she can smell their son on the shirt. She, again, blamed him for not killing Beth when he had the chance. "I can't count on you for anything," she uttered just before demanding he stay away from her while she continues her search for Marty. She told Luis to go back to Fancy and not tell her about their son. She soon apologized for being so cruel. Luis told Sheridan he's not leaving her and is committed to finding Marty. She said Fancy should stay with him even if she doesn't know every detail of what he's doing. Luis suddenly realized Fancy disappeared from the motel. "Maybe she saw Marty," noted Sheridan. Luis suggested they split up to find the female cop. They both ended up in the room where Sheridan originally found the T-shirt, then went their separate ways again. Sheridan and Luis met up in the hallway and Luis found Fancy's handbag, which looked like it had been ripped off of her.

Ethan tried to talk Gwen into calling a doctor for their son, who clearly had a fever. She was adamant that Jonathan just needed a bath. After the bath, Ethan apologized to Gwen. When he mentioned what a great mother Pilar is, Gwen took advantage and started asking about her past so she could get more details about Pilar's secret.

Theresa continued trying to get Pilar to confess what Gwen had on her that made her demand Theresa stay away from Ethan. Theresa said she can't obey her mother. "I wouldn't ask you if it wasn't a matter of life and death," said Pilar. Theresa felt as if Gwen won. Refusing to accept what her mother was saying, Theresa accused Pilar of making everything up, noting that she has always told Theresa to go for her dreams, so why change her mind now? "I'm not saying that Gwen is the one I'm afraid of," said a shaken Pilar. Theresa told her mom she's not acting like herself. She suggested they stick together and beat whatever is scaring her. "Trust in the power of family," cried Theresa. Pilar tried to get it through to her daughter that their entire family was in danger of dying if she doesn't stay away from Ethan. Theresa continued to think her mom was blowing things out of proportion, so Pilar screamed at her.

Theresa pointed out how lonely her mother's life has been without Martin, and asked Pilar how she could sentence her own daughter with such pain by being without Ethan. Theresa told her mom that she overheard Ivy tell Pilar several years ago that she could use the Crane jet whenever she wanted to go to Mexico to see Paloma. Pilar explained that she never took advantage of that offer because she figured there was catch and she would have to work longer hours or something worse. Theresa questioned her mother as to why she didn't do whatever it took to go to Mexico. "I never want to go back there. It doesn't exist for me," Pilar barked. "This secret. It has something to do with Mexico, doesn't it?" Theresa asked. Pilar told her daughter to stop trying to figure things out. Theresa couldn't accept ridding Ethan from her life without known why. "Don't ask me to do this, Momma. I am begging you," Theresa cried. Pilar reiterated that the family will die if Theresa doesn't leave Ethan.

Ivy cried over Fox's coffin, claiming she would have killed Kay had she known the young woman was going to murder him. Just then, Kay walked in. The two women argued. Ivy punched Kay, who ended up on the floor bleeding from her mouth. She got up and battled it out with Momma Crane. They went at it, running circles around the coffin. "My son will not rest in peace until you're dead!," Ivy blasted. Their fighting caused the coffin to fall to the ground. "Has all that Botox gone to your brain? I didn't do it," Kay yelled when Ivy once again accused her of offing Fox. The ladies struggled to get the coffin back on its stand. "Thanks to you, it will definitely be a closed coffin," Ivy said. Kay warned Ivy to stay away from her. When Kay said she would be at Fox's funeral, Ivy attacked her again. Pilar arrived and tried to stop the feuding women. Ivy accidentally hit Pilar. Furious with the women for battling in God's home, Pilar ordered them to leave. Kay walked out, followed by Ivy. Pilar began to pray, unaware that Ivy returned to get her purse. "I'm so sorry for what happened all those years ago. My secret has come back to haunt me," Pilar prayed. Ivy overheard and learned from her ex-housekeeper that someone knows her secret. Ivy tried to comfort Pilar.

Paloma and Noah tried to figure out the mystery that is the Timmy doll. She swore she heard a voice in the static that came from the doll. Noah kept making excuses about all the strange things happening in Tabitha's house that they've experienced since they've been there. Suddenly, the words "Miguel," "Endora" and "help" clearly came from the doll. Paloma didn't care to figure out how the noise was coming from the doll, she just wanted to know where Endora and Migs were. Paloma asked the doll over and over for answers. "Magic. In. Water," the doll said. Kay returned home to learn Noah and Paloma were flirting with the supernatural in Tabby's house.

When Ivy asked her ex-housekeeper how someone could have found out about her secret, Pilar realized the only people who knew about it were Father Lonigan and Ivy. Ivy went on about how important she knew keeping her mouth shut was and she would never put Pilar and her family in danger. Ivy cried about how close they were when Pilar worked at the mansion and was her only confidant. "I never told. I swear to you in this church and in front of God that it wasn't me," uttered Ivy. The blonde told Pilar she is there for her. "I miss the Ivy you once were," said Pilar. The women had a heart to heart about the past. Ivy mentioned that Miguel has disappeared and Pilar flipped. "I think that Tabitha, Endora and Miguel might be dead, and I think that Kay is the one who killed them," Ivy blurted out.

Paloma and Noah told Kay that the Timmy doll told them about magic water, so they are looking for it to help Endora and Miguel. Kay freaked out about her brother and friend figuring out she's a witch. She used her powers to get the magic bowl before the others found it. As it floated above her, Noah and Paloma walked in and asked Kay why she was jumping around and wet. "I was jogging," she claimed. Noah and Paloma told Kay that the Timmy doll was trying to communicate with them, so she tried to make up excuses. She used her magic to make him simply repeat, "My name is Timmy." Noah told his sister that they saw some crazy things and their imagination must be running wild. He and Paloma took off. The doll called out to Kay for help. "Miguel?" she asked.

Sheridan and Luis continue to search for Fancy, unaware that she is bound and gagged and passed out in the hallway of the motel. As soon as they opened the door, they found Fancy. Sheridan thought she was dead (and was probably excited about it), while Luis tried to save his lover. Luis felt responsible for Fancy being attacked. "If she had stayed home, she wouldn't have gotten hurt," blasted Sheridan, who reiterated that finding Marty was the most important thing to her. Fancy came to, and Luis told her she had most likely been chloroformed. She remembered someone putting a rag over her eyes, but that there was also a little boy in the room. "What did he look like," asked Sheridan. Her description was like Marty. Fancy said she heard a car taking off with the kid. Sheridan was upset, so Luis was about to fill in Fancy on their search for Marty, but Sher cut him off. "It's Marty," Fancy said of what was bothering her aunt.

Theresa walked in on Ethan and Gwen and told him she has something she needs to talk to him about. Jonathan started to cry, and Ethan filled Theresa in on the baby's fever. Gwen didn't want to hear Theresa's motherly advise, and insisted the boy didn't need medicine. When Theresa was about to tell Ethan that he's Little Ethan's father, Gwen mentioned Pilar and how Theresa should listen to her mother. With Ethan out of the room, the women went back and forth with Theresa asking Gwen what she did to make Pilar make an about-face, and Gwen telling her rival she better not tell Ethan about their son. Theresa was sure love would provide her happiness with Ethan, but Gwen told her that if she stays with Ethan, the Lopez-Fitzgeralds would die.

Ivy explained to Pilar why she thinks Kay has killed Fox, Miguel, Tabitha and Endora. Ivy then filled her in on Pete's death and that blood was found in Tabitha's kitchen, so believes Kay is a serial killer. Ivy pointed out that selfish Kay even hated her own cousin and resented her mother. "All teenagers go through stages," said Pilar. "Well, she's still in her bitch phase," replied Ivy. Mrs. Crane blurted out that even nice people are driven to do bad things if given an extreme circumstance. The women tried to figure out how the secret has been leaked. Pilar informed her friend that, in order to protect her own family, she had to demand Theresa give up Ethan. Ivy knew right away that Rebecca and Gwen were behind the blackmailing, and wondered how they found out Pilar's secret. Even though Ivy has never wanted Ethan to be with Theresa, she felt horrible for Pilar.

Esme and Jake continued their sexual playtime dressed as swimmers, unaware they were being watched. The frisky duo changed into S&M wear, and Esme whipped the cop. While they were smooching on the floor, the gloved mystery person placed a very long pin into poison and then stuck it into the bed. Esme continued to play rough with Jake. "Get up! Stand erect! Are you ready to hurt? Lie down," she ordered. Once they moved their fun to the mattress, she snapped his toes, one by one, to give him more pain. Once she got on top of him, Jake was pricked with the poisonous pin and he screamed out and started coughing. Esme thought he was just playing along. She then panicked when she realized her lover was dying after he said he couldn't breathe. She tried to call for help, but couldn't remember how to call 911. "I've heard of killer sex, but this is ridiculous," she yelled. Jake saw the killer looking through the door and mumbled, asking the person if they were responsible for the other deaths. The person nodded yes.

Fancy thought Sheridan was desperate to find the little boy she saw earlier because of Marty — but not because Fancy thought Sheridan believed the boy was Marty; because Sheridan wants to help the boy due to her own loss of Marty. Fancy said she feels bad that Sheridan and Luis lost their son. A relieved Sheridan realized her niece has no idea that Marty is alive and they are searching for him. Luis comforted Sheridan, and Fancy left them alone.

Kay talked to the Timmy doll, thinking Miguel was talking to her through the toy. She realized it wasn't her lost lover, it was Tabitha! The doll morphed into the paper bag that Tabitha is trapped inside of. Kay asked the older witch why she wanted Noah and Paloma to see the magic bowl. She scolded Tabby for framing her for the murders in town. Tabs magically turned Kay's clothes into a jail jumpsuit for a moment. The bagged witch caused the bowl to appear in front of Kay, who looked in and saw Sheridan crying to Luis about Marty. Kay was furious when she realized Tabs used her magic to set Fancy up to catch Sheridan and Luis making love. Kay threatened to put Tab in the microwave if she didn't undo her spell. Kay worked fast to stop Fancy from finding the duo having sex, but it didn't work; Fancy opened the door.

Ethan walked in on Gwen telling Theresa "it's over." She told her ex-husband that she was referring to his relationship with Theresa. Gwen then covered by saying the battle with Theresa over Ethan was over. "There's no more bad blood between us," Gwen said. The women exchanged secret looks while convincing Ethan their feud was in the past. Alone, Ethan asked Theresa what he was going to tell him before they were interrupted. She recalled her mother begging her not to tell Ethan that he's Little Ethan's father. But she had Ethan sit down to hear what she was going to say. Theresa started to spill the paternity beans, with a looong introduction. "Ethan, you are... ," she said until Gwen walked in with a crying Jonathan. When Gwen walked out to give the baby a bath, Theresa told Ethan to call Dr. Russell. Ethan begged Gwen to get their baby medical attention. While holding the boy, Theresa took his temperature and rushed him to the hospital with Ethan. Gwen followed.
