Vincent revealed himself to Eve, but quickly donned his Valerie disguise
again when Julian arrived. Eve was confused by Valerie's presence and "Val"
reminded the doc that her son is dead. Eve started searching the house for
Vincent, but Julian told Eve that she is seeing things — thanks to the
booze.
While Julian was out of the room, Vincent appeared to Eve again. She ran and
got Julian, but of course only Valerie was in the room by the time they came
back. Eve ordered Julian and Valerie to leave since they didn't believe
her.
After spying Fancy and Luis kissing, Pretty used Alistair's controlling
device on her sister. Fancy got another headache, then slapped a shocked
Luis and ordered him to leave. After Luis left, Pretty deactivated Fancy's
anger with the remote. She was stunned by her behavior.
At Fox's viewing, Esme announced to a surprised Kay that she and Fox are
involved. When Sam and Ivy arrived, the latter slapped Kay, blaming her
for Fox's death. Ivy ordered Sam to arrest Kay and Miguel for murder. While
sifting through the evidence, Sam found a thread from a cashmere sweater.
Noticing that his daughter was wearing a similar sweater, Sam asked for a
sample from it. Kay explained that she picked up the sweater when she walked
into the room. The contents of Kay's purse also produced catnip which could
connect her to Pete's death. When Sam asked where Kay was during the time of
Pete's demise, she claimed she was with Tabitha. But since Kay shrunk Tabby,
Kay has to admit that Ms. Lennox is nowhere to be found. Ivy pushed Sam to
search Tabitha's basement — he realized that Endora is also gone. Sam
had
no choice but to arrest his daughter.
On the computer, Gwen tried to break JT's code but panicked when she thought
she might have erased what was on USB stick. However it was just an alert JT
had added that the user was close to breaking the code.
Theresa lamented to her mother that she has lost everything but Pilar urged
her daughter to fight for him. Pilar advised that Theresa can gain the upper
hand by telling Ethan that Little Ethan is his son. Although Theresa feared
what Ethan would do to Alistair, she decided coming clean was the best
course of action.

Gwen overheard Pilar urge Theresa to tell Ethan the truth about
their son. After Theresa left, Gwen emerged and expressed her disbelief that
Pilar would give such advice, but Pilar was certain Alistair's threats will
evaporate after he’s arrested. Pilar asked a bitter Gwen to give up Ethan
because his heart will always belong to Theresa. "I've been there and it's
not a good place," Pilar acknowledged but a smug Gwen replied that she won’t
rest until Ethan is hers again, then produced a piece of paper. When Pilar
asked what Gwen was holding, she answered, "This is your worst nightmare and
it's coming back to haunt you — big time." Gwen taunted that she never
thought Pilar would keep such a secret like this. Pilar looked at the paper
and reacted powerfully to it. "My life will end as I know it," gulped Pilar.
"And so will Theresa's."
Theresa tracked down Ethan, ready to come clean, but he interrupted her
confession with a romantic "late-night snack." As Theresa geared up to spill
her guts, Ethan Ethan asked if she was hurt that she didn’t give him his
firstborn son. "I did," she answered. "I gave you Little Ethan." A clueless
Ethan assured that he will always love her boy as his own. As Theresa
attempted to clarify what she meant, Ethan wanted to make out and dance
instead of talking. Now, who could blame Theresa for being distracted by
that?
As an unseen presence watched, Luis admitted to Sheridan that something was
wrong with Fancy but he didn't know what it was. "She's like two different
people," Luis admitted. Sheridan said she has seen these mood swings in
Fancy in the past. When Sheridan's cell rang, she announced it was Spike
with a lead on Marty's whereabouts.
When Tabitha couldn't be found, Ivy ordered Sam to arrest his daughter for
murder. He insisted he couldn't do so without any hard evidence but Ivy
reminded Sam about the sweater fiber found on the ledge outside of Fox's
window as well as the catnip in Kay's purse. A spark flew out of the bag
holding Tabitha and hit the floor, which turned into a spot of blood. Sam
and Ivy were oblivious to the display but she found the blood and was
convinced more than ever that Kay was a murderer. Sam gathered the blood
sample for testing.

At the Bennett's house, Kay demanded answers about her next move from the
paper bag containing shrunken Tabitha but when Ivy and Sam eavesdropped, Kay
had to cover her conversation. She denied Ivy's accusations that she killed
Fox, Pussycat Pete and the missing Tabitha, Endora and Miguel. "Your
daughter is a murderer," Ivy shouted at Sam. Ivy accused Kay of killing Fox
for his money. Sam wanted to believe his daughter's innocence, but told her
he needed some answers. Kay came clean and revealed that Tabitha and Endora
are witches and Endora and Miguel are being held for ransom in another
dimension called The Dark Side. Ivy stated that Kay was going for the
insanity defense. "Dad, have you forgotten our house got sucked down to hell
and you battled demons in our living room?” she reminded. Sam hugged his
daughter and said he wants to believe that she caused no harm, but Ivy vowed
that Kay would pay for her "crimes.” After Sam and Ivy left, Kay went back
to seeking advice from Tabitha in the paper bag.
In the Crane kitchen, Fancy recalled losing her temper with Luis for no
apparent reason. Esme entered and wondered where the servants were to make
Vicki's breakfast. Pouring cereal was too much of a chore for her, she
noted. The girls discussed the loss of Fox, as an eavesdropping Pretty
relished the fact that her sister was in such turmoil. Fancy talked Esme
through preparing grapefruit, toast and pouring juice. Esme advised her
friend to get a grip on her mood swings or she'd send Luis back into
Sheridan's bed. Pretty entered and "comforted” her sister, as Esme still
mourned Pussycat Pete. As Pretty fawned over Fancy, Esme grew skeptical and
tried to warn her friend about her sinister sister's true motivations.
Fancy, however, insisted that her sis has turned over a new leaf.
In the Crane garden, Luis and Sheridan feared that Spike might be on
Alistair's payroll. Spike showed up and when Luis threatened to arrest him,
Spike vowed he'd never see Marty again if he followed through. Sheridan told
Spike to relax and Luis backed off. "He's only a serial killer," Luis
huffed. Spike stressed that the only way he'd help them locate Marty was if
he was immune from prosecution. Sheridan immediately concurred, but Luis was
hesitant. Spike lost his temper and left. Sheridan ordered Luis to catch up
with him, stating she couldn't bear to lose Marty for a third time. Luis
returned empty-handed and though he tried to convince Sheridan that they
could find Marty without Spike, Sheridan wasn't hearing it. She called Luis
a
hypocrite since he has bent the law in the past. Luis agreed and vowed he'd
make things right. "Thanks for the reality check," he added. As they hugged,
Pretty asked Fancy to come over to the window, so she'd get a glance at the
ex-lovers embracing outside.
In the study, Theresa and Ethan woke up in each other's arms and chuckled
about their romantic evening the night before. The pair reflected on all the
troubles they've been survived over the years and they vowed that they were
meant to be together. Ethan made Theresa promise to never doubt herself or
their relationship ever again.
Meanwhile, Gwen greeted Pilar and reminded her that she'd better toe the
line and tell Theresa to give up on Ethan or she and Rebecca would go public
with Pilar's secret. Pilar begged for mercy, saying that the reveal would
destroy her family, but Gwen showed no sympathy. She stated that even if she
stayed silent, Rebecca would love to expose the secret to all of Harmony.
Pilar said a prayer for forgiveness, then agreed to do Gwen's
bidding. She called Theresa, who shared her post-coital bliss with her
mother. Pilar choked back her tears and said she was wrong to fight for
Ethan and that her daughter should stay married to Alistair. Theresa was
crushed. "Do as I say and end things with Ethan,” Pilar shouted,
then hung up. Gwen told a devastated Pilar that she did the right thing.
Spike showed up at Kay's doorstep with flowers. He asked if they could "test
the waters." "No, you're married to my sister and you're wanted for murder,"
Kay shot back. She slammed the door in his face. "Could this day get any
worse?" she wondered to the paper bag. Outside, Spike called Alistair and
reported that his plan failed. Alistair, however, was not surprised.

In the Crane garden, Sheridan was grateful that Luis changed his mind and
agreed to work with Spike. Luis stressed that he was doing it for Marty, not
her. She stated that they were dealing with Spike for the greater good. "The
ends justifies the means," noted Luis. "I never believed in that." After
Luis left, Sheridan privately rejoiced while Spike eavesdropped. Spike then
met with Sheridan. She gave him a briefcase full of cash and bonds. He was
upset because he wanted all cash but she told him to stop being ridiculous.
Spike warned her this had better not be a double-cross, or she'll never see
Marty again.
Inside, Pretty maneuvered her sister to the window to see Luis and Sheridan
in
the garden. Fancy got to the window and shrieked — she was running
late for
work. After Fancy left, Esme saw Luis and Sheridan outside and called Pretty
on her vindictiveness. She branded Pretty's newfound kindness of being an
act. "I knew you were up to something," Esme declared. Es tormented Pretty
about her scar and told her it's time to get over it. "Leave my face out of
this," Pretty shot back. "You are uglier on the inside than you are on the
outside," Esme replied. Pretty then accused Esme of being a serial killer,
mentioning the deaths of Fox and Pussycat Pete. "How do you know about Pete,
Pretty?" she queried, since the news was not yet made public. Pretty
couldn't answer and stormed off. "Meow!" she snarked on her way out.
Pilar was disappointed that Gwen was, "Just as much a bitch" as her mother
is. Gwen told Pilar she made the right choice by caving to her blackmail.
Pilar stated that she had no choice; if Gwen exposes her secret, Pilar's
entire family "will die!" Gwen called Theresa a thief, since she stole Ethan
away from her. Pilar told Gwen that it doesn't matter if Gwen gets Ethan
back — he will always love Theresa, not her. Gwen refused to accept
that.
After speaking with her mother, a post coital Theresa told Ethan that they
were through. Ethan was stunned by her announcement. A tearful Theresa
recounted their troubled past, then ran off. "What the hell is going on
here?" a scantily clad Ethan wondered aloud.
Theresa went to her mother and asked, "What changed your mind?" Pilar
pointed out that since their faith doesn't recognize divorce, Ethan and Gwen
are still married. Theresa didn't buy the argument, recalling that her
mother had earlier advised her to fight for the man she loved. Theresa
wondered if Alistair was behind this, but Pilar denied the charge. Theresa
was incredulous that her mother would want her to stay with a madman like
Alistair. Pilar remained strident and a heartbroken Theresa gave in to her
mother's demands. She watched Ethan with Gwen and the baby and sobbed, as
Pilar maintained in her head that she was doing what was best for her
family.
At the police station, Luis pulled up Spike's record on the computer and
agonized over deleting it. "God forgive me," he stated as he pressed the
delete button. Just then, Fancy walked in and asked what he was doing. He
covered, saying he was working on a report. Fancy apologized for slapping
him and her recent rage episodes. He noted that she hasn't been acting like
herself. Luis forgave Fancy and told her to kiss him. She did so happily. As
they hugged, she saw "File Deleted" on Luis's computer screen. When Luis
said he had to run an errand, Fancy grew suspicious. She checked and noticed
that Spike's paper file was missing. Luis returned to the Crane garden, told
Spike that the computer file was gone and handed over the paper file. Spike
gloated as Luis fumed.
