Tabitha informed good witch Esmerelda: "You owe me and I've come to collect." The two women revealed that they had been roommates in witches' school, but their pairing had been a disaster. The women flashed back to their school days, launching a wild parody of the Broadway musical, Wicked. Young Tabitha and Young Esmerelda clashed from the start, with Esmerelda and her posse of good witches teasing Tabitha about her strange behavior. Esmerelda eventually tried to help Tabitha fit in, but to no avail. Tabitha soon grew more powerful than any of the other witches and left school to strike out on her own after saying goodbye to her roommate. Tabitha admitted that knowing Esmerelda had changed her...for good. Esmerelda felt the same and the young women embraced. In the present, Tabitha told Esmerelda that her daughter also wanted to change for the sake of good, and Esmerelda agreed to let Endora enroll in her school. Tabitha flew off on her broomstick.

Kay watched in horror as Fox and Miguel came to blows. Kay tried to pull Fox off Miguel, but The Demon Elf stopped her and reminded that she had to stay out of their fight because of the deal she made to save her sister. Julian revealed the deal Kay made to keep Miguel free. Kay begged Miguel not to hate her, but he hugged her instead. An unhappy Julian threatened to have Miguel thrown back in jail.

Eve filled Whitney in on Jessica's buried alive misadventure and that Valerie was arranging a meeting between Eve and her long-lost son. Eve reluctantly admitted that Miles was with Chad. Whitney called Sam and asked him to have Chad arrested for kidnapping. Whitney showed up at Chad's room and demanded he hand over their son. Chad refused, and Sam declared that Chad's actions were legal.

Theresa was knocked unconscious during Jared and Ethan's fight. Rebecca asked Gwen if they should help Theresa. "Help that bitch? "I'd rather die," spat Gwen, possessed by a demon. When the demon left Jared's body — like Gwen, he had been possessed thanks to the Demon Elf — he was stunned to learn that he had knocked Theresa out during his fight. Ethan announced to Jared that he and Theresa would be together, and Jared vowed to find Theresa's blackmailer himself.

Kay joined Tabitha and Endora for breakfast and informed them of her plans to break up with Fox so she can return to Miguel. Kay made a mess when she tried to conjure up breakfast. Tabitha warned Kay that if she can't even conjure up breakfast properly she will really mess things up if she tries to use her powers to leave Fox and reclaim Miguel. Tabitha tried to get Endora to help her cast a spell to protect them from evil, but Endora conjured up a puppy for herself instead, and then a bird. After several failed attempts Tabitha realized she has to take Endora to a special place to learn how to protect herself by conjuring proper spells. Tabitha transported her and Endora to the preschool for good witches. All the good witches freaked out at the sight of Tabitha. Tabitha had to calm them down and reassure them that she meant them no harm. Tabitha explained that she needs their help to teach Endora how to protect herself. The witch teachers explained that only one witch could decide whether Endora could be admitted into the school. The head witch appeared and intoned, "Tabitha, we meet again...."

Miguel confronted Fox "to settle everything between them." Kay then walked in and tried to defuse the situation, politely sending Miguel on his way. Kay offered to alleviate Fox's headache (and his illness) by conjuring a spell. When her spell backfired, both Kay and Fox were knocked unconscious while Elfie ran off with a sphere of her power to share with his flying demons to energize them. After she came to, Kay thought that Fox was "cured" and went downstairs to work her magic on Miguel. She cast a spell and he became a Spartan warrior and chased her around the room. She then cast another spell and produced a massage table and asked him to give her a massage. Miguel grabbed her and started making out with her on the massage table, while a re-energized demon possessed Fox, who came downstairs, observed Miguel and Kay making out, and declared, "Miguel must die." Fox walked over, pulled Miguel off of Kay and began pummeling Miguel on the floor while Kay screamed for help.

Whitney ran over to find out from Theresa what her good news was, but woke up Jared in bed instead. Jared told Whitney he had a horrible "dream" about Theresa accepting an engagement proposal from Ethan. Meanwhile, Ethan and Theresa beamed over their engagement. Ethan said he needed to do the honorable thing and break the news to Jared, but Theresa told him no. Ethan became enraged and, thinking that Theresa was just playing more games and jerking him around, called off their engagement. Theresa begged him to reconsider and told him it's only because of the blackmailer. Ethan reconsidered and agreed, and their engagement was back on. They resolved for her to divorce Jared as soon as the blackmailer has been nabbed. Whitney came down to find them. Ethan excused himself and Theresa broke the great news to Whitney. As the two of the discussed things, a re-energized demon possessed Jared, who confronted Ethan and punched him down onto the floor. Jared had superhuman strength and beat up Ethan mercilessly. When Theresa tried to intervene Jared threw her across the room.

Sam worked feverishly to resuscitate Jessica while everyone looked on in anguish. Eve arrived on the scene and began to work on Jessica. Eve and Sam were able to successfully revive Jessica. Everyone rejoiced but Elfie, who lamented that his demons would lose heir strength now. Jessica said she thought she had died but must have been dreaming. A nervous Spike feigned care and concern over her wellbeing. Jessica slapped him and kicked him and told everyone that he had buried her alive after he drugged her. Sam charged Spike with kidnapping and attempted murder and arrested him. Back at police headquarters Spike was put behind bars and a grateful Jessica thanked everyone for saving her. Elfie appeared in Spike's jail cell to size up Spike's evilness. "I knew you had what it takes," said Elfie, who excited that Spike was evil enough to help energize his demons. The demons invaded Spike's body and he became possessed by them. Sam stopped by Spike's jail cell to check on him and found the cell destroyed, and the cop who was guarding him tied up in twisted metal from the bed in the cell. Spike was nowhere to be found.

A demon possessed Gwen, who declared that Theresa must die. Rebecca was happy at Gwen's comments, and asked Gwen how she'd like to kill Theresa. A possessed Gwen turned toward Rebecca and began to strangle her mother, but stopped when the demon flew out of her. Gwen couldn't understand her actions. Gwen and Rebecca debated how to handle Ethan and Theresa. They resolved to learn Theresa's secret so they could break up Theresa and Ethan. While arguing with the blackmailer about killing Theresa, a demon possessed Sheridan and she became eager to kill Theresa after all. The blackmailer was enthused by Sheridan's abrupt change of heart, and encouraged Sheridan to kill her ASAP "while she was still in the mood." The demon left Sheridan and she snapped out of it, and refused to kill Theresa once again. The blackmailer was annoyed and told her that she lied to him/her and began to strangle Sheridan. Sheridan pulled out of his/her grip, still refusing to commit murder. Sheridan grabbed the blackmailer and removed his/her mask. She was shocked to see his/her face: "Oh my God, it's you!" Sheridan threatened to call the police and turn in him/her, but the blackmailer warned Sheridan that she doesn't know what she's doing. The blackmailer reminded her that without his/her help, Sheridan will be able to set Luis free but not get Fancy out of the way so she can have him back. The blackmailer tempted Sheridan once more: "Deal, or no deal?"

While sleeping, a demon possessed Jared, and he became eager to kill Ethan. Jared walked downstairs in pursuit of Ethan but the demon left him and he woke up, wondering if he had been sleepwalking. A frustrated Ethan told Theresa he's reached his limit and demanded that she tell him about the blackmailer, but Theresa insisted she couldn't come clean. Theresa begged Ethan for one more chance. Ethan said he was going to ask her something but it was too late. Theresa pleaded with Ethan to tell her what he planned to ask. Ethan showed Theresa a jewelry box containing an engagement ring to answer her question. "I realize now that it's a lost cause," Ethan lamented, who said he's glad he didn't embarrass himself by proposing, considering she loves Jared. Theresa stopped Ethan in his tracks by agreeing to marry him. An emotional Ethan hugged Theresa in happiness, while an irate Gwen and Jared both watched in shock from the sidelines. The demons re-possessed Jared and Gwen, and both of them resolved to kill Ethan and Theresa again, respectively, as they watched Ethan and Theresa celebrate their new engagement with a long, passionate kiss.

Tabitha and Kay lamented the hell Kay unleashed by listening to Elfie and giving him a drop of her blood. Kay demanded that Elfie live up to his end of their deal. Below ground, Jessica's spirit and her baby's spirit rose from their coffin, and observed Tabitha and Kay searching for her. Jessica felt reassured that she and her baby were headed to a better place. At Harmony police headquarters, Sam and company grilled Spike on Jessica's whereabouts. Spike denied knowing anything. An angry Sam threatened to kill Spike if he didn't confess. Paloma got a call of a fire in the woods. Sam and company left to investigate with Spike in tow. They ran into Kay and Tabitha. Jessica's spirit slapped Spike for what he did. Spike insisted he still knew nothing about Jessica's whereabouts. Sam began digging. Noah warned him he can't dig random holes looking for Jessica. Sam revealed he's digging a hole to bury Spike in, if Spike doesn't confess. Once he was convinced that it was too late to save Jessica, Elfie told Kay where she was buried. Kay lied and told everyone she thought she heard Jessica's voice coming from that spot. Everyone started to dig frantically at the site, while Jessica's spirit watched them work. Fearing that they were too late, Kay asked Tabitha for advice. Tabitha suggested that they pray. Kay asked everyone to join her. As they prayed, Jessica and her baby's spirits returned to Jessica's body. When Sam and company resumed digging, they reached the coffin lid. Elfie questioned Tabitha's loyalties to the dark side while Sam performed CPR on Jessica. Elfie summoned the demons to seek out people in Harmony to wreak havoc throughout town.

Gwen listened to Ethan's complaints about Theresa. Ethan was annoyed that Gwen was the one who sent Jared their way. "I'm trying to help you," said Gwen. "You are addicted to Theresa." Meanwhile, Jared expressed his insecurities to Theresa: "I'm not sure if I'm the only man in your heart. I know you love me, but do you still feel the same way about Ethan?" Jared asked. Theresa flashed back to the blackmailer's demand that she reject Ethan and remain loyal to Jared. Theresa reaffirmed her commitment to him and consented to make love to him, while Ethan and Gwen approached their room, still debating whether Ethan should still be pining after Theresa. Ethan heard Theresa make love to Jared through the door and felt anguish while Gwen gave him an "I-told-you-so" look. Ethan and Gwen continued to argue over Theresa. Ethan reminded her that Theresa wasn't the only one who hadn't been honest with him. Gwen admitted that she had been keeping a secret from him, and offered to tell him about it considering they're no longer married. Ethan interrupted her, by saying all her cares about is his future, and his future is with Theresa. Gwen returned to speak to Ethan but one of the demons flew into her ear and she became possessed to kill Theresa. Another demon flew into a sleeping Jared's ear, and he resolved to kill Ethan.

The blackmailer offered to tell Sheridan where Pretty is, if Sheridan agrees to kill Theresa for him/her. Sheridan was majorly tempted but insisted that taking a life under any circumstances isn't right. The blackmailer confided in Sheridan that killing Theresa will allow him/her to get what he/she wants: Ethan. Sheridan refused until one of the demons flew into her ear and possessed her. The next words out of her mouth were: "I'm going to kill Theresa — and enjoy doing it!"

Tabitha ran off in the woods in frantic search for Kay, who was speaking to Elfie, and agreed to have him help her find Jessica. Elfie built a fire to help them find Jessica but demanded "payment" before they proceed. Tabitha arrived on the scene and denounced Elfie as a fraud and warned Kay not to go through with their deal. Kay freaked out and expressed her guilt over her actions causing all of Jessica's problems. Kay told Elfie she was prepared to do whatever she needed to find her sister. Tabitha pleaded with Kay not to trust him. A disgusted Tabitha ran off to find Jessica on her own while Elfie asked Kay for a drop of her blood to put on the fire to find Jessica themselves. Tabitha returned just as Kay dropped her blood on the fire. The blood caused all of these creatures to appear from the flames and to fly around the fire.

Jessica gasped for air as she remained buried alive. "My baby and I are going to die in here!" she cried. Jessica wised up and realized all of her crying and moaning was using up her remaining oxygen so she did her best to chill out and conserve her air. A light came on in Jessica's coffin, as she heard a voice calling her. "I'm here to help you, Jessica. I'm here to help you home." Jessica recognized the voice as her mother's.

Sheridan caressed a framed photo of her and Luis and vowed to not let Fancy have him — "you belong with me," she muttered. A sympathetic prison guard allowed Luis some "alone time" with Fancy. As the two lovebirds reveled in their quality time, a surveillance camera remained on them. The two made love, after which Luis humorously lamented he had hoped that their first time would be in a much more romantic setting than a prison locker room. Fancy insisted all that matters is that they're together. Luis pledged his love to her and the two started kissing again passionately. The guard then called Sheridan, who became incensed that the guard's loyalties shifted because Fancy paid him more money. The guard informed her of the video camera he installed in the room, and instructed her to view it via her cell phone. Sheridan became enraged when she watched Fancy and Luis making love. An irate Sheridan continued to watch and listen as Luis and Fancy cuddled in bed. The blackmailer paid Sheridan a visit. Sheridan was surprised that he/she got past all the guard. "What do you want from me?" she asked angrily. The blackmailer offered to help Sheridan save Luis from execution even if it means that Luis would remain with Fancy. The blackmailer offered to eliminate Fancy from the picture as well. "You can do that?" Sheridan asked. "Absolutely," the blackmailer hissed. He/She said the way to neutralize Fancy was to bring Fancy's sister Pretty into the picture. "But the price is going to be very high," the blackmailer warned. Sheridan offered to pay the blackmailer any price. He/She told Sheridan it's not money he/she wants. The blackmailer wants Sheridan to kill Theresa!

Rebecca welcomed Gwen home: "I'm going to help you get Ethan back." She was shocked when Gwen informed her she didn't want Ethan back. "I THOUGHT Ethan had honor and integrity," sniffed Gwen, who put down Ethan for being so easily lied to and manipulated by women like Theresa. Gwen resolved to finalize her divorce and then leave town again, this time for good. Jared arrived and Gwen congratulated him on his marriage to Theresa and tipped off Jared that Theresa might need "help." The he/she male watched outside through the window as Ethan confronted Theresa about Gwen's accusations. Ethan remained skeptical as Theresa tried to defend herself for marrying Jared. Ethan struggled to understand Theresa's actions. Theresa insisted she loves him, and denounced Gwen for trying to come between them. Ethan relented and reaffirmed his love for her. The two resolved to catch the blackmailer so Theresa can leave Jared and the two of them can be together and happy at last. The blackmailer watched as Ethan and Theresa began to kiss and vowed to make Theresa pay for her love for Ethan with her life. Jared arrived on the scene and caught Theresa in Ethan's arms. Jared pulled Ethan aside and punched him in the face. Theresa lied and told Jared that Ethan came onto/after her and sent a dejected and irate Ethan packing. Jared told Theresa how much he loved her.
