PASSIONS Recaps Week of June 4, 2007

Tabitha told adorable Endora how happy she is that Kay was able to use her powers to get the little girl home. Tabby vowed to raise Endora as a bad witch. Endora revealed that she had a dream. Tabitha hoped it was about her daughter spreading plagues and locusts, but it was about something decidedly more pleasant. Needless to say, Tabby was disappointed. She believed that her daughter was confused and conjured up a nice, evil black cat for Endora. She then handed the ridiculously cute kitten to the little girl. Endora turned the kitty white and named her Snowball. Tabby explained that bad witches are supposed to have black cats and began to get more anxious about her daughter's good behavior. Endora pleased her mom when she conjured up some demon heads. Tabitha was confident that with her and Julian's genes, Endora could turn out to be even more wicked than her.

At the station, Sam and Paloma planned to find out who'd dumped the bodies in the vacant lot. She promised to be careful with the evidence. After he left, Noah came out from hiding under the desk. They were determined to find something that proved Jessica hadn't killed the men found. Paloma then spotted a piece of a mirror that was on one of the corpses. They went to test it for prints. Noah was confident that they'd find the real killer. Sam then returned and Noah quickly hid. Sam began lecturing her about how it's not a good idea for her to date Noah, because he doesn't believe his son is good for her. "He'll ruin your life," Sam stated, with Noah in earshot. Ouch! An angry Noah came out for hiding and confronted his dad.

Fancy and a newly released Luis shared a happy reunion. Unfortunately, it was only Fancy's fantasy. Sheridan announced that now that she's captured the blackmailer, Luis would go free and belong to her. She, Fancy, Ethan and Theresa were then horrified when they went to the church and found that the blackmailer had escaped. Fancy accused Sher of letting the criminal escape, but Sheridan denied it. Sheridan then blamed Father Lonigan for letting him go; the father explained that he had an urgent phone call. By the way, everyone kept referring to the blackmailer as "it," which is why the English language seriously needs an alternative gender-neutral pronoun. Anyway, Fancy feared that Luis would be executed before they got a chance to clear him. The ladies continued to argue, but Ethan broke it up.

Meanwhile, Ethan tried to come up with a strategy on how to locate the "thing." Fancy suggested they examine the duct tape to see if there was hair on it that they could examine; she planned to take it to the Crane lab. Sheridan was furious that Fancy accused her of "its" escape; Ethan reminded her that they all want Luis to go free. He then questioned Sheridan about her conversations with the blackmailer. She recalled "it" knowing the contents of the Crane vault. "Who is this thing?" asked Ethan. Later, Sheridan told Ethan that she could never stop loving Luis and that Fancy turned him against her.

Fancy went home to work on getting the lab results on her computer. As she did so, she dreamed of having a romantic night out with a freed Luis. Her fantasy turned into a nightmare when in it, Sam arrived and arrested Luis again. She later had another dream where she was pregnant with Luis's child and he was thrilled with news. Back in reality, she pleaded with the powers-that-be to help her find the blackmailer. Later, she got back the results (not that the audience got to see them!).

Theresa walked away and broke down in tears. Father Lonigan tried to comfort her. She confessed that the blackmailer would've blabbed her secret. Lonigan urged her to talk to him about what's bothering her. She revealed that Ethan is her son's biological father, but doesn't know it — and that she wed Jared to keep her secret under wraps. She feared that if it got out, Ethan would hate her for lying. Lonigan advised her to tell Ethan the truth, warning that it would probably come out anyway. Who should happen to overhear their conversation? Ethan! What was Endora's dream about? Puppies.

Tabitha profusely thanked Kay for rescuing her and Endora from the cackling crone council, but the witch warned her savior, "You have no idea what your powers can do." Sure enough, Kay tried to conjure up some snacks and ended up zapping a turkey, a cow and an elf into the kitchen instead. Tabitha offered to give magic lessons if Kay promised not to use her powers until she was ready. With crossed fingers behind her back, Kay agreed, but once Tabby was out of the room, she materialized a Central Park hotdog vendor.

To follow up on information about her long-lost son, Eve sought out Valerie. "I'm sorry I don't have his name yet," lamented Val, who promised to set up a reunion as soon as possible. After Eve departed, Valerie caressed her gun and hissed, "Julian won't be meeting your son, Dr. Russell. He'll be meeting a bullet."

At the Blue Note, Ivy and Julian commiserated about their shattered love lives. "Here we are again ... two lost souls," moaned Julian. He then wondered if there still could be an attraction between them. "Do you think that we could find happiness together?" posed Ivy. Surprisingly, Julian agreed that it was a future worth considering.

Chad was upset when Whitney announced she was taking Miles "as far away from his cheating father as possible." Whit got even more upset when her hubby confessed that Vincent made a sex video of himself and Chad. Whitney bid Chad farewell and stormed out. Elsewhere, Vincent found Valerie's gun and said, "Harmony was shocked when they learned of my love affair with Chad. Wait till they see what I have planned next."

Fancy, Ethan and Theresa rejoiced over Sheridan's news that He/She was tied up in the church. As they headed over to retrieve the blackmailer, Sheridan daydreamed that Luis came to her after he was freed and professed his love. Fancy then showed up and slapped her aunt back to reality. Theresa tried to confess little Ethan's paternity to Ethan, but he was too preoccupied about interrogating the blackmailer to listen. They then charged into the church.

The bad witches taunted Tabitha about going soft. She zapped them unconscious for taking her daughter and daring to mention she is half-mortal. When they came to, the witches in black teased Kay for being a mortal and not being able to help Tabby. The bad witches tried to kill Tabitha, and a bunch of supernatural lights went back and forth. They neutralized Endora into a lit sphere and prevented Kay from being able to move her feet. The witches made it so Endora couldn't see what they were about to do to Tabitha, and said they would put a spell on her so she doesn't remember her mommy. Kay yelled at the witches for torturing Tabitha in a ring of fire and recalled Tab telling her about the Standish women's powers. "Jessica has powers as well, but they're not as strong as yours," she remembered Tabitha saying. Kay used her powers to make the bad witches explode. She was thrilled with herself. "Did I just do that?" Kay said while she jumped up and down. Kay and Tabitha said how much they mean to the other. "Maybe you're a good witch after all," noted Kay.

At the police station, with Noah by her side, Jessica slowly started to tell Sam about her involvement with the dead men. Paloma barged in and told her friend to keep quiet. The Chief lashed at Paloma for telling his daughter not to talk to him. Another officer interrupted for Sam to take a call from the mayor. Noah asked his girlfriend why he told Jess not to confess. Paloma filled them in on the dead johns being dug up, and that therefore, Sam would be forced to prove her guilty of murder. Jessica asked Paloma and Noah if she should confess or keep quiet. Paloma said she doesn't know how the rest of the dead bodies got to the same vacant lot where they buried the last john Jess thought she killed. "I'm going to tell Daddy what I came here to tell him," Jessica decided. But when pictures of the corpses were handed to Sam and he assured Jess the murderer will be punished, Noah stepped in to say his sis simply wanted to apologize for the trouble she caused in the past. Sam told her not to worry, he knows Spike is to blame. "It's not like you killed anybody, right?" said Chief Bennett. He told Jess he loves her no matter what Spike made her do. Noah and Paloma told Jess they'll find evidence that she didn't kill the johns.

Luis had another nightmare about being given a lethal injection. A guard harassed him. "Soon, all your dreams will come true," he chuckled.... Sheridan taped the blackmailer's hands and feet together, but still didn't take his or her mask off to reveal identity. Father Lonigan told her he/she is not a creature, he or she is a tortured soul. Sheridan went outside to get reception on her cell and call Luis to tell him she captured the blackmailer. Sheridan got a hold of Luis and excited told him she caught the criminal. "With the blackmailer caught, you'll be free. Free to be with me," she said. Luis asked his ex who the blackmailer is. "The real question is what is the blackmailer," she said. Luis tried to get it through to Sheridan that they are not going to be together, but she insisted on believing he loves her. Inside, the man/woman came to and Lonigan explained why his/her hands and feet were tied up, then gave him/her water. The priest said he assumes the police are on their way. The blackmailer didn't understand why Father Lonigan was still so nice to him or her. "Why did you do the things you did, my child?" asked Lonigan. "People thought I was a monster, so I became one," the blackmailer explained. The priest didn't judge the man/woman, and said he/she can become good again. The blackmailer admitted to arranging Grace's murder and killing JT to keep them from exposing his secret. He confessed to hurting several others. "I even tortured Julian and Eve, but they don't know it yet," he/she said. "If you knew who I am, you'd understand," he/she uttered, then leaned in to tell Lonigan. "You can't possibly be who you say you are," gasped the priest. "I have to take a moment to fathom what you've told me." But then, Father Lonigan understood.

In Theresa's office, Julian was caught off guard when Fancy asked her dad what he was talking to Mrs. Crane Casey about. He recalled making a deal with Theresa and realizing he'd be stealing Fancy's inheritance by keeping quiet about Little Ethan's paternity. Ethan asked why Julian and Theresa are suddenly civil. They claimed they were discussing Fancy coming back to work. Fancy agreed to return once Luis is out of danger. Ethan asked why they were talking about Little Ethan earlier. Theresa said she offered Julian more power at Crane Industries if he dropped the custody suit over "their" son. Ethan asked what secret Julian was going to tell him. Fancy asked that they talk later because they needed to spend their time on saving Luis. Ethan broke the news to Theresa that the judge moved Luis's execution date up. Julian said he would make calls to try to help Luis. Ethan was suspicious of Julian's sudden change. Julian ran into Valerie and told her Theresa gave him more power so he wouldn't sue for custody of L.E. Then he flirted with Val, and suggested going to the Blue Note later. Once he left, she pulled a gun out of her purse. Ethan got a call from Sheridan saying she caught the blackmailer.... Luis prayed to be released from jail. He heard a male laughing at him. "Who the hell are you?" he asked.

Inside the church, the half-man/half-woman asked Father Lonigan and Sheridan who wanted to die first. He mentioned Luis's love for Fancy, which made Sheridan snap. She called him/her a "stupid creature" — something most people wouldn't do when a gun is pointed to their face, no matter how creepy the gunman's mask and outfit may be. Of course, her rant was reason enough for the she-male to aim for Sheridan first. The blackmailer told Sheridan he/she knows that she sent the risqué picture of Fancy and Luis to the tabloid, and other things he/she knows that shocked Sher. Lonigan tried to calm the gunman down. "Tell us who caused you all this pain," said the priest. The blackmailer grew angry and started to head out when Sheridan stopped him/her. "You're not going anywhere until you set Luis free," she yelled while struggling with him/her. A gunshot went off. Sheridan knocked him/her out. When Lonigan suggested calling the cops, Sheridan said, "There is time to arrest this thing later." She was determined to have Luis exonerated first. Meanwhile, the blackmailer laid unconscious on the floor with his/her mask on. Uh, it'd help to take it off Sheridan, so you can finally learn who has been torturing everybody in town.

Julian and Theresa continued to argue about what the reveal of Little Ethan's true paternity will really mean. She confidently showed Jules Alistair's will and L.E.'s right to the Crane fortune. Theresa said she will fight for years to win, and pointed out older Julian might not be around when a decision is made. She reminded him that Alistair disowned Sheridan, Julian and his kids, with the exception of Fancy. She offered him a deal for his silence: he becomes head of Crane, but she remains CEO with access to the money and power until her brothers are out of trouble. When Julian noted he'd be stealing from Fancy, she and Ethan walked in and asked what they were talking about.

In the woods where all the buried, dead johns have been found, Paloma called Jessica and told her not to do anything until they talk. Sam asked her who she was talking to; she covered. At home, Noah tried to convince Jess to tell their dad about her involvement in the murders. Sam called Paloma from the station while she was at the Bennett house anxious to warn Jessica about the investigation, but she wasn't there. Jessica and Noah walked into the police station to tell all to Sam.

Fancy begged Ethan to stop Luis's rushed execution. They worried about Theresa and Pilar's reactions to the impending death.

The bad witches tried to show Endora new, evil things. Endora wondered where her mom was. At home, Tabitha cried to Kay about Endora being missing. She turned to a magical computer to find her daughter. Kay suggested Tabitha call out for Endora so her magical motherly voice would be heard by Endora. Tabs yelled for her girl. Endora heard and sent a bird for her mom to see. Suddenly, they were able to see Endora in Tabitha's magic bowl. Tabs learned she's in the 10th dimension between Oz and Narnia. "You're kidding me," replied Kay. Tabitha transported herself and Kay to retrieve Endora. Tabs told the mean witches she will make them pay for taking her daughter.

Luis told Fancy and Sheridan, who were visiting him in jail, to keep an eye on the priest because he had premonitions of danger. The women assured Luis they were going to stop his execution and stop the blackmailer's reign of terror. Away from Luis, Sheridan told Fancy their rivalry isn't over.

The gun-totting half-man/half-woman continued to taunt Father Lonigan in the chapel, claiming he was there to kill him. The she-male took a shot. "Still care about me, old man," asked the shooter. "Still wanna pray for my soul?" Lonigan said the person is troubled and that he wants to help. "Nobody cared for me... Nobody could even stand the sight of me," snapped the she-male. "What kind of God creates a baby whose own mother screams in revulsion at the sight of him?" Still, the priest tried to reason with the deep-voiced person, who suddenly removed his mask and made Lonigan feel his or her face. "I feel compassion for all of God's children," the priest continued to preach. The man/woman pointed the gun at Lonigan just as Sheridan walked in. She let out a big scream upon seeing the she-male for the first time. The priest told Sheridan to leave, but the man/woman threatened to shoot her.

Ethan told Julian to just spit out whatever he was there to say. Just as Jules started to tell Ethan he's Little E's poppa, Theresa asked for a few minutes alone, and privately told Julian not to say anything to Ethan. In her office by herself, Theresa opened the safe to retrieve paperwork. She called the men back into her office. Ethan got a call from Fancy, who told him she needed to see him right away at the Book Café. "You have to go," Theresa urged him. Ethan told Julian he can tell him whatever it was he was going to say next time. When Winthrop left, Theresa and Jules lashed out at each other. Theresa told him he's going to want to make a deal with her after what she's about to show him. Julian didn't believe her. "You know, if you could just stop threatening me long enough, I could tell you why you shouldn't be wearing that smug, sure-of-yourself expression," she said.

While Endora was brewing up something special, Tabitha suggested they go on a vacation. "Maybe that lovely dark bat cavern we read about in your storybook would be nice," she said. Thinking she had seen the last of the witch committee, Tabby was surprised to see the crew — and their car — land in her house. The three bad witches claimed they were there to give Tabitha their verdict after reviewing her witchery since making a doll come alive. They showed her clips from the last several years of sweet moments with Timmy and Endora. "Those are just a sampling of what we saw," noted a witch. The committee pointed out that Tabitha has been kind to Kay and Jessica, yet punished Spike. They declared her a good witch! "No, you're wrong," she reacted. "I can't be. I'm a bad witch. I'm rotten to the bone." Tabitha stomped her feet and told the committee they are dead wrong. "To heaven with the lot of you," she snapped. The three witches then told Tabs that Endora needs to be correctly taught the evil way of witchery — and they were going to take custody of her! "Say good-bye, Tabitha. You'll never see your daughter again," they chuckled. Tabs told them they can't take Endora away. "I belong with her," she said. "Love, isn't that just like a good witch," the evil witch noted. Tabitha promised to raise her girl to be wicked, and showed them that she's already teaching her evil ways. The witches caused Tabitha to pass out. When she woke up, nobody was around — not even Endora! "They couldn't have taken my little girl. That would be too cruel," panicked Tabs.

Ethan met up with Fancy. "It's Luis. You can't let them kill him," she blurted out.... Luis had a vision of himself getting the lethal injection with an upset Sheridan and Fancy looking on.
