The blackmailer gave into an evil laugh as Spike wrapped up the exhumed bodies. Then they left the bones uncovered and Spike gave the blackmailer pictures of Jessica and her friends hiding one of the dead johns. When blackmailer reported the murders it threw a crimp in Noah and Paloma's attempts to tell Sam about them. Before they could get anything out, Paloma was ordered to follow Sam to the scene. The blackmailer watched happily as Sam squatted over the dead johns. "I'd say the whole field is a graveyard," the medical examiner surmised, while Paloma stood over the grave she'd dug herself.

Noah went straight to Jessica, who had finished packing to go back to Spike in spite of Simone's best efforts. He asked Simone to excuse them and told Jessica he knew about her dead johns. She denied it, but he didn't believe her. He held her and promised they'd all stand behind her as she told their father the truth. She pulled away, insisting Spike could protect her and refusing to see her dad, but Noah wouldn't let her leave. "If the police find those bodies, you could be put to death," he feared.

Sheridan, Fancy and Pilar were back at the prison and when the girls starting bickering and playing the blame game, a hopeless Pilar scolded them. "Spoiled rotten, both of you," she cried and told them they had to work together to stop the execution. Luis, meanwhile, was meeting with Father Lonigan in hopes of making his final confession. "Someone has set me up, but good, and it's time for me to accept that I'm going to die... very soon," he said, but Lonigan begged him to hope for a miracle. Then he revealed Alistair was behind blinding him. He recounted how — having shared his "revolting crimes," the mistrusting baddie tried to kill him and then got off with a few bribes. "Never underestimate the power of evil," he warned. Luis was confident the blackmailer was linked to Alistair. "I feel something terrible is about to happen, and when it does, I may not be around to help you," the priest warned, afraid he couldn't overcome the "simmering evil" that surrounded them. When he left, Luis' ladies came in together. He was happy to see them, but then they had to tell him the judge wouldn't take any bribes. While Pilar talked to Sister Alice, Luis told Fancy and Sheridan that something evil has "come back to haunt us all."

Father Lonigan prayed for Luis and his family as a storm raged outside the church. Then he "sensed evil" had come for him. He stood and faced the blackmailer, who pointed a gun at him.

Ethan didn't believe Theresa would cry over business and swore no one was leaving until he heard what she and Julian were arguing about. A smiling Julian revealed it was Little E. and dropped hints, but offered nothing direct about the real paternity issue. Theresa changed tactics and went on the offensive. They shot threats back and forth, talking in circles around Ethan.

Paloma finally told Noah Jessica's secret about the murdered johns, with the caveat that, "It's possible someone else is responsible for it." Noah couldn't believe his sister a murderer, though it seemed more realistic after Paloma told him about Spike's habit of drugging Jess before she turned tricks. Both agreed the murders were Spike's fault, even if Jessica had committed them. Then Paloma admitted she and Simone helped Jessica by disposing of evidence, including a body. Noah wanted to tell his father, but Paloma worried about the repercussions for everyone. He insisted Jess had a better chance if she turned herself in now, as apposed to getting caught. "Secrets never stayed buried forever," she agreed — which was apropos since Spike was literally unburying Jessica's secrets. When he played with the first skull he dug up, the He/She told him to keep digging up dead johns. The blackmailer again insisted he/she wasn't Alistair, so Spike pushed him/her to share his/her secrets. His questions led him/her to explode about his/her family, who had abandoned him/her to be "hurt, humiliated... ridiculed." When talk turned back to Jessica, Spike softened and asked the he/she to go easy. Instead, the blackmailer admitted being responsible for Grace's death, saying it was "all part of the master plan."

Sam was shaken when Harmony PD received a mailing from Scotland Yard that held Grace's effects — namely, her diary. In the first entry, she sounded desperate to be back with him and their family. Then she wrote about "strange" things going on and having figured out "who's behind everything. It's horrible." Across town, Rebecca broke into Ethan's room hoping to find clues as to where her daughter went. She recalled Gwen's bizarre behavior when they last spoke and then phoned her daughter again. Gwen answered and said she was fine. Rebecca insisted she come home and help find the memory stick. "I have someone in my life, and I love him, and he loves me, so I'm not coming home," Gwen said and hung up. Undeterred, Rebecca went to snoop through the files on JT Cornell's murder, but Sam caught her. When the chief teased her about her cross-dressing ex, she insisted she's been in love with JT and wanted his belongings. He said nothing was leaving the PD until he'd cleared the case, so she pointed to all the other unsolved murders. Then she told him about the USB stick, which might have all the answers the police wanted on Harmony's recent crime spree. Sam started to think the recent happenings were related.

Ethan eavesdropped as Julian bated a begging Theresa, but he didn't hear what they were actually arguing about. When Julian compared her to Alistair, that was too much for Ethan and he interrupted. Julian ate it up as Theresa tried to get rid of Ethan and then tried to cover by saying it was business. Then Julian told Ethan the truth about the paternity. Ethan begged Theresa to tell him Julian was lying. When she couldn't, he told her off with tears in his eyes...but that was all in her imagination.

Jessica woke with a start after a nightmare about her "date" with the half-man/half-woman. Simone rushed to her side and comforted her as she recalled her strange encounter with him/her. She told Simone the freak's voice was "soft, but raspy." Then she tried to talk Simone into letting her go back to Spike. "I'm hoping that once Spike sees his child, he'll change. Babies can have that effect on people," she insisted, adding that Spike would turn her in for murder if she didn't return to him. Simone pointed out Spike could have been the one who killed the johns, but Jessica just wanted the bodies to stay buried. Too bad! The half-man/half-woman was forcing Spike to show him the bodies. After he/she caught Spike smoking and reprimanded him, Spike spoke back and got a punch in the stomach. Then the freak demanded, "I need Jessica to pay for your sins," and called Spike on killing the johns. When he/she explained they were going to unearth the johns to bring Jessica down, Spike, surprisingly, balked and refused. "I guess deep down inside, I kind of care about Jessica. I mean, maybe not much, but...." Once he/she flashed some money, however, Spike took him/her right to the graves. When he asked why the he/she even cared about Jessica, he/she revealed, "No one is a stranger to me in Harmony, Spike; far from it. They don't know it yet, but they're all connected to me." So Spike got to digging.

Nearby, Ethan found outed Chad moping about losing everything. Chad again insisted he wasn't gay and didn't love Vincent. "I hated myself for being with Vincent. But I hate not being with Vincent even more," he said, admitting he hadn't made sense of his feelings because he was "afraid" to. "Maybe after she calms down I could explain to her, you know, that I — that I didn't understand myself, and she'll take me back and the four of us can be a family," he hoped, but Ethan told him not to hold his breath. Across town, Whitney collapsed in tears into her mother's arms and then left her stammering over Chad's news. Between bouts of tears, she vented about the lies he'd told her. She swore she'd never forgive him and shrugged that she couldn't offer what Vincent offered anyway, so there was no way to fix their relationship.

Noah and Paloma shared an expensive, romantic dinner. She was down on love with all the recent happenings, but he countered, "I want our love to be the kind of love that 'happily ever after' is made of." When Noah asked if she knew what Spike had over his sister, Paloma's face said it all, so he begged her for the truth. "We thought we were helping her by keeping quiet, but now that she's having a baby, maybe it's time for you to know," she said and agreed to tell him.

Pilar found Fancy and Sheridan having a spat and dropped the bomb that Luis' execution had been bumped up to immediately. She was so worked up she even poured herself a drink. Sheridan quickly clued into the fact that the blackmailer was to blame again and the three ladies went straight to Judge Reilly. He was a nervous wreck when they barged in demanding he stop the illegal execution order, but he was firm on his decision to follow through. Sheridan got in his face with true Crane venom and then offered to double the blackmailer's bribe. The judge insisted they couldn't and that he didn't know who the blackmailer was. Then he told them to leave. They begged for his help, but he said to "get ready for a funeral."

Julian gloated over knowing Little E's paternity. Theresa tried to deny it, but couldn't talk her way around the DNA test. He started clearing her desk and told her to get out. "I'm reclaiming what is mine," he growled. "This office, this company, the mansion, the money, the power, everything that goes with it." Then he railed against her for her lack of class and called security to get her kicked out. She begged him to let her make things right for the sake of her brothers and Little Ethan and he heard her out. She outlined how she'd learned the truth from JT in Rome and why she'd kept it a secret. She apologized for being mean to him, noting he'd never been anything but mean to her. "Well, turnabout is fair play," he mused. "I'm about to show you the same kindness that you showed me."

Tabitha felt she'd proven herself "a lean, mean misery machine," but the judgmental committee of her peers was distracted by a spying Miguel. They zapped him into the room, but left his clothes outside so they could enjoy his body. Tabitha wove the story that he was just catching her women's theater club rehearsal, but Miguel was convinced she was a witch and, what more, the one responsible for "the blood dripping from the walls, the birds attacking, the Bennett house being sucked into hell." Tabitha pointed the finger at Hecuba, but he still insisted, "I was raised in the church. I have to tell everyone there's a witch living in our midst." Both the good and bad witches saw this as Tabitha's final test, challenging that a bad witch would stop him in a "horrible, painful way." Stalling, Tabitha told Migs Kay had powers too. "How do you think you confused Kay with Charity the night Maria was conceived?" she asked. Miguel reminded her he'd been a good guest and promised to stay quiet, but she apologized and shot him with glowing magic. He flew unconscious onto the couch, which satisfied the bad witches, until the good ones realized he was alive. Tabitha explained he'd remember nothing, but the committee insisted a bad witch would have killed him. "I solved the problem and kept my cover as Harmony's lovable town eccentric. You could say I'm good at being bad," she bragged. Unconvinced, they went off to discuss her case. As they loaded into the car, she called after them to keep her in "bad standing."

In the prison infirmary, Luis and his mother played recap. Pilar seemed confident Luis would be released soon, but he feared he'd run out of time before he was proven innocent. And he would, if the Half-Man/Half-Woman got his way! The masked weirdo caught Judge Reilly in his car and warned that he had more photos of the judge committing "crimes against nature," so Reilly called the warden and had Luis' sentenced bumped up to "immediately." Luis' favorite guard (not) was happy to give him the news that he was being moved for execution. Pilar tried to hold him off, so the guard called for backup.

Whitney didn't want to hear Chad's excuses or denials about being gay. "For you to stand there and tell me that you're not gay is not only insane, it's insulting," she fumed. He swore he wasn't gay or bi, but had just "connected" with Vincent. It didn't help his case when two gay guys laughed at the idea that she was his wife. "You have this whole secret life going on," she marveled and accused him of betraying his family by lying. "I never questioned our love until you joined that convent. That's when I decided that if I couldn't have you, I didn't want any woman," he explained, swearing it was only Vincent. "I was like an addict who couldn't stop," he apologized, but it broke her heart that she wasn't enough for him. He begged her to let him fix things, but she said there was no way. "I want a divorce," she claimed repeatedly. He referenced their vows and said he'd even get shock treatment. "There has to be a way you can forgive me," he begged, but she walked away.

Ethan was shocked when Theresa told him about catching Chad in the closet, but pointed out they'd both cheated on people before. She was concerned about Vincent, who'd set the whole thing up and then threatened her with a "twisted look" on his face. Ethan responded that secrets come out, which was Julian's cue. He couldn't wait to share his! He joined the pair and immediately broached the topic of Little Ethan's paternity. Theresa assumed he was bluffing, but Julian just smiled and apologized to Ethan for how he reacted to the news that Sam was his father. Ethan appreciated it, noting that paternity is the worst secret to keep. When he wondered why they were rehashing the past, Julian warned, "History really does have a way of repeating itself." That was too much for Ethan, who could tell Julian was taunting Theresa. He demanded to hear the truth and Julian agreed to share it. Lucky for Theresa, business called Ethan away. Julian handed his ex a drink and toasted the truth. "Eve ran the DNA. Ethan is Little Ethan's father," he said, savoring each word.
