Outside the prison, Sheridan was annoyed that Spike was running late. Spike finally arrived. Sheridan ordered him to get her back inside the prison again. Spike complained he used up all his favors to get her in the first time. Sheridan bullied Spike into complying, as Spike feared the wrath of the Crane empire. Sheridan became annoyed waiting for Spike to return and fantasized about breaking into the prison and doing battle with Fancy to rescue Luis. She then snapped out of it and posed as a nun to gain access.

Inside the prison, Pilar, Fox, Julian and Kay rushed into the infirmary to see Miguel. The nun tending to him reassured Pilar that Miguel would be fine, but told them that someone tried to smother him. "What kind of place is this?" cried Pilar. The nun offered to speak to Pilar for support any time she'd like. Pilar worried that whoever tried to kill Miguel will succeed the next time. Pilar wondered out loud how they could get Miguel released before he gets killed. Kay flashed back to Julian's offer, and asked Julian to speak with him about it. Kay promised to stay with Fox and never be intimate with Miguel again if he springs Miguel from prison.

Luis was upset over what happened to Miguel. Fancy urged him to rest and get better. A despondent Luis said what difference does it make since he's on death row. Fancy reassured him that he'll be proven innocent and will one day be set free and reinstated as a detective. Luis and Fancy redeclared their love for each other. Fancy then visited Esme, and recapped what's been going on at the prison lately, including mistaking a disguised Sheridan as a male prisoner who was kissing Luis. Fancy showed Esme the nanny cam she set up in Luis' room to keep an eye on Luis. Fancy asked Esme to keep an eye on Luis while she changes out of her uniform. Sheridan then entered his room disguised as the nun. The "nun" began to kiss him. Miguel woke up and annoyingly asked Sheridan to stop kissing him because he loves Fancy now. Esme was excited to see the nun kissing Sheridan and called Fancy to the computer. Fancy recognized her right away as Sheridan. "That bitch!"

At the Crane Mansion, Noah demanded answers from Chad about the gun. "I'm lying about my whole life," Chad cried. Noah offered to keep his mouth shut if Chad levels with him. "There's a phrase that sums it up," Chad stated. "I've been livin' on the down-low. Do I disgust you?" Noah insisted that Chad didn't, but admitted he was a loss for words. Chad denied that he's gay, which further confused Noah. Chad admitted that Vincent is the guy Chad has been involved with, and that Vincent has been blackmailing him. Noah suggested that Chad "disarm" Vincent by outing himself to Whitney, but Chad refused, and said it's impossible to level with Whitney. Noah urged Chad not to give in to Vincent's blackmail anymore. Chad said he's been trying to figure that out. Chad denied that he was going to kill Vincent, but insisted he needs to find a way to get rid of him. Noah insisted that if Chad really loves Whitney he'll level with her and then work things out through counseling, etc. When Chad refused, Noah asked him if it's because he really loves Vincent. Chad angrily denied he has any feelings for him. Meanwhile, Whitney received a text message from Vincent asking to meet her because he has a "surprise" for her...

Ethan and Theresa caught up to his Ethan's double just after the he/she male kicked the double in his groin and ran away. All three of them gave chase to the he/she male. With Ethan, Theresa and Crane security closing in, the he/she male ducked into the Crane mausoleum. Security spotted him entering the mausoleum and told Ethan and Theresa that the he/she male is trapped inside. While Ethan was happy at the prospect of ending the he/she male's reign of terror, Theresa flashed back to the he/she male's warning of telling Ethan the truth about Little Ethan if she ever disobeyed the he/she male. "My life is over," an anxious Theresa muttered to herself.

At Chad's birthday party, Julian offered Kay to get Miguel released from prison...if she promises to stay with Fox and forget about Miguel. Kay called Julian a monster and in turn Julian called her a whore. "Your poor mother must be spinning in her grave," Julian remarked of Grace. Fox watched Julian's browbeating of Kay from a distance, and worried that Julian would overdo it and push Kay too far. Julian laid a big guilt trip on Kay about how sick Fox is and how little time he has left and how the only thing keeping him going and keeping him alive is his love and devotion to Kay. "I will not allow you to tell Fox the truth, is that clear?" Julian commanded. Julian then tried to scare Kay by warning that she'd die poor and alone if she doesn’t obey him. "I cannot be his wife if I'm in love with another man," Kay insisted, and demanded the evidence to free Miguel. Julian reiterated his offer to give it to her only if she promises to give up Miguel. When Julian pressed too hard Kay broke off their conversation and stormed off. Fox approached Julian and told him how much he was touched by Julian's words about him. Julian reassured Fox that Kay would come around.

Theresa and Ethan secretly made out in the coat room while Ethan's double was circulating himself at the party elsewhere in the mansion. The two succumbed to their passions by pulling their clothes off of each other, dropping to the floor and making love. Theresa was anxious to get back to the party to avoid suspicion, but Ethan said not to worry. Ethan revealed that he hired his impersonator to help catch the he/shemale. Out on the terrace, the he/shemale observed Ethan's double, and believing him to be Ethan, remarked that Ethan deserves to be rewarded for being a "good boy" and staying away from Theresa. The he/shemale grabbed Ethan's double from behind, swung him around and began to kiss him passionately. The double pushed the blackmailer off of him. The blackmailer became incensed when it realized that it hadn't been kissing Ethan, and vowed to make Ethan pay if he was with Theresa. Ethan got paged on his GPS by his double, notifying him that the he/shemale had been spotted. Ethan and Theresa rushed to get dressed to catch him/her. The blackmailer spotted the GPS device Ethan's double was carrying and kicked the double in the groin to escape, while Ethan and Theresa were in hot pursuit.

Whitney was jubilant over her announcement that she's pregnant. Jared and Vincent congratulated a stunned Chad, who covered and told Kay he was excited about it. Vincent was jealous watching Chad continue living his lies. Chad gushed and doted over Whitney, who told Chad he's the one who taught her how to love and how to trust. Pilar arrived and gave Chad a gift. Pilar told Whitney that her family needs her prayers. Whitney told Pilar the good news about her pregnancy. Pilar asked for Theresa, as did Jared. Jared remarked that he expects to have to hold a baby shower for Theresa soon after Whitney has hers. When Whitney gushed again over Chad, Chad declared his love for her to everyone. A seething Vincent walked over and hugged Chad to "congratulate" him. While hugging him Vincent whispered that after Chad tried to kill him in the motel it will now be Chad's turn, and then he left. Whitney could sense something was wrong as Chad seemed upset after hugging Vincent. Chad was upset that he hadn't yet gotten rid of his gun. Whitney and Chad began to dance. As they embraced during the dance Chad flashed back to all the times he made love to Whitney, then to him making love with Vincent.

Paloma and Noah observed from the sidelines. Paloma became suspicious of Vincent because he sat to himself and was obviously not in a happy or festive mood. They speculated about what happened based on what they heard and saw with Chad and Vincent. Noah approached Chad to ask him about Vincent and what they saw/heard at the motel, including the gunshot. A nervous Chad stonewalled and said he had to get back to Whitney. When Chad tripped the gun fell onto the floor. A shocked Noah declared that Chad must have been the one to shoot a gun at the motel and asked Chad to level with him. Noah insisted he had to inform Paloma because she's a cop, but Chad begged him not to. "You better start talking and it better be good," Noah warned.

Pilar frantically summoned Kay after getting a call on her cell from the prison telling her that Miguel had been injured in the infirmary.

At the zoo, Tabitha found Mrs. Bradley passed out in the arms of gorilla. Endora played dumb and pleaded the fifth, but the threat of a spanking got her "talking." She told her mom she wanted to teach the mean mommy a lesson, so Tabitha distracted Amy and left Endora to fix things. Instead, she turned Mrs. Bradley into a gorilla and let her amorous cage mate chase after her. Tabitha returned and instructed her to put an end to that and get on with her lesson, but before she could, a zookeeper came with a tranq-gun. Tabby distracted him while the gorilla gave Mrs. Bradley a lecture. Then she forced Endora to zap Mrs. Bradley back. Having been saved, the former selfish hag hugged her daughter tightly and told her, "I thought we'd go get some cotton candy and go put our pajamas on and maybe read a story with Daddy." Tabby was pleased with the results, but lectured Endora to be "careful about where and when you practice your woo-woo."

Whitney and Theresa had the manse ready for Chad's surprise party. Ethan arrived and teased that he had his own "good surprise" in the works for Theresa, which only stressed her out. After Eve arrived to help with the party, an excited Ethan pawed at Theresa, but he stopped cold when she told him the Half-man/Half-woman had talked to Little E. She comforted that it was only a warning. Then Jared arrived and they covered by talking about Chad's party. When the newlyweds went upstairs, Ethan made a mysterious call. "Put that outfit that I gave you on and get over here right now," he directed. "I'll meet you out front as soon as I change." Once he did, he met an unseen person and set his plan in motion.

Noah returned to an empty hotel room, because Paloma was next door digging Chad's bullet out of the wall and grilling Vincent about who fired it. Vincent insisted he'd been in the shower and knew nothing. Then he threw her out of the room and she returned to fill in Noah. "There's something that I've been thinking about that doesn't add up, either," Noah said after hearing about the shooting, and he was talking about seeing Chad run off. They decided to confront Chad.

At Tabitha's, Julian was sorry his son backed out of their murder plan, but Fox had a new plan. Before he could share it, Kay came in and asked after all the whispering. Julian covered well, so Kay changed the subject to Chad's party. Julian was surprised to hear there was a party at his house, but helped Fox talk Kay into going and the threesome was among the first to arrive. Julian asked for some time with Eve, but she excused herself. Then Fox left Julian alone to call Kay out on her affair with Miguel. He listened in as his father snarled that while Fox fought for his life, "You seize every opportunity to get down and dirty with Miguel, the man who tried to kill your husband." Kay was apologetic, claiming she loved Fox, just not as much as Migs. Julian put his arm around her and said he might be able to get Miguel out of prison. Of course, she'd have to do something for him in exchange. "If you want me to have Miguel set free, I want you to stay married and faithful — to my son, specifically. Never see Miguel again."

When Chad got to the manse, he hid his gun and then walked into his "Surprise!" Vincent arrived right after, which got Chad and Whitney riled up. She wanted to kick him out, but Chad asked her not to make a scene. Instead, he warned Val that her ex crashed the partay. Then Whitney remembered her pregnancy test and went to check the results. That gave Vincent a chance to harass Chad. Theresa, meanwhile, stepped aside to check her cell phone and someone opened a door and pulled her in. It was just Ethan, but Theresa panicked that the blackmailer would be mad. "I hired an impersonator," he bragged, explaining, "If this blackmailer sees him, he's going to think it's me and think that I'm alone out there when actually I'm here, alone with you, and we can do whatever we want." Which meant make out time! Coincidentally, Vincent was looking out at the impersonator and asked Jared if it was Ethan. Then Paloma and Noah arrived and started questioning Chad. He got lucky when Whitney interrupted to announce her big news — she was in fact pregnant. While everyone cheered, Vincent came up behind Chad and said accusingly, "You're cheating on me with your wife?"

Tabitha and Endora felt bad for Amy, whose cell-phone loving mother was acting meaner and more selfish every minute. "People say we witches are cold-hearted," Tabitha marveled, but sighed that there was nothing they could do about her, "even though we both know that a little bit of woo-woo would teach that miserable excuse for a mother a lesson." While Tabitha comforted Amy, however, Endora did what her mother cautioned against: She used magic to send Mrs. Bradley into the monkey cage. After a mini-montage of Precious nursing moments, Tabitha realized the other mom was taking a while. She didn't know the woman was being lectured by a monkey! "Be a good mother to Amy, or I'll go ape on you," he warned and then knocked her out.

Theresa and Whitney worked on party planning and family planning. They bonded over the idea of becoming mothers again, with Whitney hoping a new baby would calm Chad down. "I wonder what's bothering him. Well, whatever it is, I hope Chad gets a grip on it soon," she thought. Appropriately, at that very moment Chad's grip tightened around his lover's neck across town. He didn't kill Vincent, but there was no cuddling after their rough session. "I'm the only person you've ever been with that lets you be you," Vincent cooed to his angry lover. "And what a mess you are, confusing love for hate, passion for anger. But you're my mess." Chad pulled his clothes on and again dumped Vincent. That led to their usual back and forth until Chad pulled his gun and said, "I will kill you before I let you tell Whitney anything." Vincent was turned on and tried to kiss him. The struggle set the gun off, which got Paloma's attention. She was in the neighboring room, awaiting Noah's return with munchies. They'd laughed over the loud, rough sex next door, but Paloma was quick to go into cop mode once she heard the gunfire. After two police warnings, she kicked Chad and Vincent's door open. Vincent came out of the bathroom in a towel, with his hands up, while Chad snuck out. But Chad didn't go unseen: Noah caught him making his getaway!

In order to avoid filling out a report on Luis, Fancy took a suspicious guard into her confidences. She explained that she wanted to write a screenplay on Luis and hoped to get "an insider's perspective." "The story of a sicko like Luis would make a great movie," she maintained and then asked if she could base the lead guard on her new confidant. His ego properly inflated, he promised to keep her secret and suggested Johnny Depp play the part. They didn't realize Spike was nearby, making his second attempt on Miguel's life while the man behind the plan, Fox, was having second thoughts at home. Julian urged his son to stick to their plan, but Fox grappled over the idea of hurting Miguel's loved ones, including his own wife and stepdaughter. "What kind of monster have I become?" he worried, but Luis saved him from becoming a murderer when he woke up and saw what was happening. Fancy rushed in after his calls for help and found Miguel safe and alone. She tried to comfort Luis, who was sure that he'd seen someone in there. "I'll pull double shifts, do whatever it takes to be here as much as I can to make sure nothing happens to either one of you," Fancy promised.

Spike, for his part, was worried about how the Cranes would deal with his failure to kill and went right over to see them, but when Fox heard he'd failed, he was relieved and insisted on calling off the plan.

After promising "no magic", Tabitha and Endora went on a play date at the zoo with Endora's friend Amy. Sadly, Amy's catty mother, Mrs. Bradley, was on the phone, whining because her nanny had cancelled and she was stuck playing mom. She didn't let up as they went through the park and then, when Tabitha questioned her, she explained how busy she kept her schedule and that getting away from her demanding baby years ago had saved her life. Tabitha was offended by her attitude. "I'm with her right now, aren't I? Oh, plus, she has two nannies. She's quite well taken care of," Mrs. Bradley insisted before another phone call took her away. When Amy tried to talk to her, Mrs. Bradley reprimanded her and called children "tedious." Then she rushed everyone along so she could make her massage appointment. Both Tabitha and Endora felt bad for Amy.

Whitney arrived at the Crane manse to prepare for Chad's surprise party, only to find Theresa trying to find the blackmailer's peephole. Reading her friends' vibe, Whitney offered to move the party, but then there was a noise. Theresa ran to it, pointing to the wall and begging, "Help me. Come look, look, look. The blackmailer. He watches me, Whitney." Then she explained the recent discovery of the passageways and peepholes, so Whitney said she should move out and even said it was "high time" she tell Ethan the truth about Little E's inheritance, but Theresa remained committed to doing the blackmailer's bidding. "I feel like I'm trapped. You know, it reminds me of when I was married to Alistair," she realized. When she revealed she may already be pregnant, Whitney threw her by pointing out the obvious: "You said you had been with Ethan, too. So how do you know you're not carrying his baby and not Jared's?" Theresa decided to get a pregnancy test sooner than later, which led Whitney to reveal she had a pregnancy test because she might be pregnant. Chad, meanwhile, was having one of his usual, slightly violent squabbles with Vincent in their love nest. This time Chad had a gun, but when he threw Vincent onto the bed and tore his jacket off, it was to make love — and they did it so loudly that romantic Paloma and Noah could hear next door!

With murder in mind, eavesdropping Spike was thrilled to hear the infirmary nurse give Miguel a shot to help him sleep. Once the coast was clear, Spike told the sleeping inmate that he was doing him a favor and put a pillow over his face. Lucky for Miguel, the nurse returned, so Spike hid. At Tabitha's, meanwhile, the men behind the plan were grappling with morals. Julian tried to keep Fox focused on his goal, but Fox was upset about "the way things are going" and even said, "Did it ever occur to you that maybe I don't want my wife if she's still so determined to be with another man?" Then he decided he wasn't a monster and tried to call the murder attempt off, but that's when Kay walked in. "You can't go through with what?" she demanded and Julian jumped in with a story about Fox planning a romantic getaway, which would have to be postponed now that Miguel had been attacked. She was touched, but asked for a moment alone with Fox "to talk." Julian said Fox was weak and went to get him water, leaving Fox to put her off. "My father wants to stay with me now," he said and when she went back upstairs, his resolve to keep her was strengthened.

Fancy watched over Luis until the nurse made her step out to fill out a report on him attacking her. When another guard came by and noticed her hesitation, he accused her of being "one of those groupies who's always in love with convicted killers."
