Dinah's having trouble adjusting to her new freeloading roomie Remy, who
brought a girl, presumably a one-night stand, into the mansion and kissed her in front of La Marler. Later, Dinah phoned the PD, claiming the mansion had been robbed so she could see Mallet, who was miffed when he realized he'd been duped. Mallet handcuffed a flirtatious Dinah and took her to the station, where she unsuccessfully tried to seduce him. Marina advised Mallet not to let Dinah play games with him anymore.
At the Beacon, Natalia looked after Olivia and offered to pick up lunch. Nat ran into Frank at the diner. She explained how Olivia had forced her out of the house Gus purchased. Frank offered to help Nat and then paid for her lunch. When Nat returned to Olivia's room, she confronted Liv about the house and begged Liv to let her rent the place so Rafe could have a proper home. Olivia suddenly collapsed; Nat took her to Cedars. When Jeffrey showed up, he decided Olivia should stay with him at Cross Creek until she fully recovers; Nat agreed.
Bill, Ava and Lizzie chatted at the gazebo. An overly friendly Lizzie tried
to bond with Ava, excitedly discussing potential baby names. It made Bill
uneasy. Lizzie volunteered to accompany Ava to her next doctor's
appointment. After Bill and Lizzie left, Jeffrey caught up with Ava and
chided her for faking the pregnancy.
Lizzie and Bill went to the mansion, where they found Remy smoking a stogie and jamming to music. Lizzie was shocked that Dinah allows him to stay there. Bill, meanwhile, phoned Dinah and they agreed to meet. Bill left, saying it was work related. Lizzie, however, surmised Bill was rushing off
to see Ava. Lizzie then fetched more baby clothes and toys, explaining to Remy that she's doing her best to deal with situation and admitted that she now sympathizes with what Tammy endured with Jonathan.
Bill met up with Dinah at Company, where he reminded Dinah that he cares for Lizzie and begged his sis not to do anything to jeopardize the relationship. As a favor to Dinah, Bill paid Mallet a visit, encouraging him to reconcile with her. Mallet was angry when Bill spilled that Dinah's responsible for his new job. Mallet later confronted Dinah about forcing Frank to lose his job. She refused to apologize, said she did Frank a favor and admitted that she's worried Mallet has the hots for Marina. Mallet rejected Dinah's kiss and left in a huff.
Bill and Lizzie kissed and assured each other they won't let needy Ava ruin
their happiness. Then Lizzie curiously mentioned that Remy is a big help.
Meanwhile, Remy fiddled under the hood of Ava's car so it wouldn't start.
Then he offered fix it for her later. Ava couldn't help checking out Remy's
buff body as he worked on the car.

At the police station, Harley noticed Gus's unfinished cases. She returned
home and informed Cyrus she wants to go back to the police force so they'll
have more money. He tried to dissuade her, claiming they'll never see each other, but she resolved to finish Gus's caseload.
Coop paid recovering Ashlee a visit. She was eager to go for a walk and
wondered if Coop could see any results from her surgery. Ash said she has a new outlook on life and can't wait to live it. She winced in pain when she tried to get out of bed. Then Doris stopped by and was surprisingly
attentive to Ash. There was some graphic talk about surgery side effects.
Later, Ashlee relayed a story to Buzz about attending Coop's photo shoot and admitted she feels overwhelmed.
Bill phoned Wanda to talk Lewis business, but former employee Lizzie (who was listening in on the conversation) grabbed the phone and took charge. Bill encouraged Lizzie to come back to work, but she said she's not ready. Lizzie made plans to meet up with Ava to talk baby stuff. Bill told Lizzie she's being too nice; they kissed.
At Company, Ava asked Remy how she can repay him for fixing her car. Remy
tried to ask her out, but she said she already has a man. "You mean a baby
daddy," Remy quipped. After, Ava phoned her doctor, wondering why it was taking her so long to get pregnant. Remy, meanwhile, phoned Lizzie to get paid for distracting Ava.
At the Lewises, Cassie phoned Josh, told him she misses him and begged him to come home. Then Harley showed up and vented to Cassie about not having any money and fretting about not doing enough for Gus. Cassie reluctantly admitted to Harley that she's been hanging out with random strangers after work. Then Harley suggested Cassie come over for dinner since Josh is out of town.
Cyrus stopped by Company for coffee and shared a rare congenial moment with Buzz. Talk turned to money and Buzz reminded Cyrus that he owes Harley. So, a determined Cyrus dressed up as a handyman and broke into a random home (once a thief, always a thief!) but ran off when an alarm sounded.
Lizzie dropped off baby clothes for Ava. After, Ava swiped Lizzie's
dollhouse; angry Lizzie ran to Bill for help. He blasted Ava for stealing
the treasured dollhouse, retrieved it and walked away. Later, Remy gave Ava a ride to Cedars where her doctor revealed she was pregnant. Bill, meanwhile, consoled a tearful Lizzie with a passionate kiss.
Cyrus was stunned when Harley came home with Cassie in tow. They traded
awkward glances as Harley prepped dinner. In private, Cassie admitted to
Cyrus she feels terrible about their fling; Cyrus begged her to just leave
it alone. The trio ate in awkward silence, then Harley made a toast to her Guests — the two people she loves most. Harley rushed off when she found out Doris is hiring at the PD, leaving Cyrus and Cassie alone to mull over their troubling situation. Doris reluctantly agreed to let Harley have Gus's cases.

Harley frantically prepared for her first day back on the force. She got emotional while glancing at a photo of Gus, then dutifully put on her badge
and retrieved her gun. Meanwhile, Marina confronted Mallet about Harley's return (her new partner!), saying he stabbed her in the back by not hiring unemployed Frank for the gig instead. Mallet advised Marina to get over the Cyrus "thing" and take care of her aunt.
Alan paid Dinah a visit at the mansion, saying he's planning to move back in
soon. When Spaulding claimed he could double Dinah's offer for the home, she called his bluff. Later, Cyrus unexpectedly showed up. Dinah surmised he was trying to case the joint for a burglary; he denied it. Later, however, Cyrus returned to the scene of his botched robbery from yesterday and timed himself attempting to break into the home again.
At the boarding house, Alan attempted to get back in on some new business
Transactions but couldn't because he lost important papers after printing
out Rafe's homework on a public printer instead. Alan confided in his
grandson that he's not just seeking wealth, he wants something bigger this time and enlisted Rafe's help in preparing business documents.
Marina and Harley drove off in a squad car to meet one of Gus's old informants. Marina was confused when Harley, who's still unstable, tacked a
foil star to the dash and rambled on about Gus. At the meet-up, Marina was forced to tell Gus's old contact that Gus is dead, which paralyzed Harley. When the guy pulled out a gun, Marina ran after him while Harley did
nothing.
Cyrus rushed to a panic-stricken Harley's aid. When Marina returned to check on Harley, she was upset to find Cyrus there. Marina and Harley drove back to the police station in silence. Meanwhile, Mallet confronted Dinah about ousting Frank, saying how guilty he feels. He was confused when Dinah met up with the Commissioner. Turns out, Dinah donated big bucks (claiming it was Mallet's idea) to start a new program with the PD.
Beth and Lillian discussed who Beth should be with, especially now that Rick has more money than Alan. Beth said she's considering siding with Spaulding for Peyton's sake and that she thinks he's changed. Later, Beth told Alan she wants to be with him but he surprisingly rejected her, saying he's too embarrassed to raise a family now and wants to wait until he can provide for her again. Beth was stunned, but Alan assured her that he's changed and is as motivated as ever to finish his "project" and make things right.
Cyrus returned home to find Mallet, who confronted him about a curious
break-in and demanded to know why Cyrus did the crime. When Mallet revealed that nothing was stolen, Cyrus maintained his innocence.... Alan stopped Dinah on Main Street requesting a truce that he thinks will benefit both of them; Dinah was intrigued. Later at the nail salon, Dinah crossed paths with Beth, who was baffled when Dinah said she's not brokering a deal with Alan just so Beth and her brood can move back into the mansion.... Alan and Rafe got their shoes shined together. Alan received a call from Franklin, offering to let the associate in on his yet-to-be revealed deal.
Marina confronted Mallet, saying Harley's not ready to be a cop again.
Meanwhile, Cyrus consoled a tearful Harley about her bad day at work. Harley broke down, saying she can't let Gus go.

At Cross Creek, Jeffrey asked new roomie Olivia to go for a drive — saying they could stop by Mel's place to discuss the terms of their divorce while they're out. They bonded a bit and Liv joked that as Mrs. O'Neill, she deserves half of Jeffrey's earnings. The conversation turned to divorce and Jeffrey assured Liv that she can stay with him and Reva at Cross Creek until she recovers, adding that La Shayne is okay with the arrangement.
At the seedy motel, Rafe and Natalia griped about their shoddy living
conditions. Later, Frank ran into Natalia and helped her lug a toaster oven to her gross motel digs. Nat was embarrassed by her situation and Frank offered to let her and Rafe stay at the boarding house. Nat graciously declined the offer.
Daisy sold a fake ID to an underage girl, who inquired about Daisy's college plans and if she and Rafe are still dating. Later, Cyrus caught Daisy
selling more fake IDs at Company and suggested she relocate her illegal
operation to a somewhere a little more discreet. Daisy eyed Rafe with a new
girl — a cheerleader — hanging out on Main Street. She was bitter, surmising that the girl was probably Natalia approved (read: Catholic and never been pregnant). Then, Daisy stormed off.
At Company, Frank confronted Harley about freezing up on the job and warned her not to put Marina in danger again. Harley apologized, saying she's overwhelmed with everything now that Gus is gone. She returned to the police station, placed a drawing of Gus on her desk and questioned a teen who was busted for a fake ID. The kid reluctantly spilled where he scored the ID so Harley departed to bust the dealer, who (surprise!) is Daisy.
At home, Harley blasted a defiant Daisy for breaking the law but agreed not arrest her. Daisy admitted she sold the IDs for the money, then broke down after revealing that she and Rafe called it quits. Harley let Daisy walk
away. When Cyrus came home and heard the news, he admitted to helping Daisy with the scheme. Harley was outraged at Cyrus's irresponsibility and pushed him away when he tried to console her during a panic attack. Cyrus plead his case, saying he's only trying to help their dire financial situation. Cyrus felt even more guilty after Harley explained how Gus, a true father figure, protected Daisy when she was in the car that killed Tammy last year.
At the Beacon, Cassie crossed paths with security guard Cyrus and they had a very awkward exchange. Cassie departed for Towers where she met a guy at the bar and introduced herself as Brooke (shady!). Cassie was shocked when Olivia arrived; Liv helped Cassie ditch the random guy. She was sympathetic about Cassie wanting to pretend to be someone else. Liv sidled up to the bar and ordered a virgin cocktail.
Back at the motel, Nat informed Rafe she's interviewing for a waitress job
at Towers. When their hot plate broke, Nat refused to stay there anymore and
told Rafe to pack his bags. After, Nat went to Towers where she saw an old
Chicago friend chatting up Olivia. The women butted heads. Later, Nat and
Rafe talked to Frank about moving into the boarding house. Frank then phoned Buzz, revealing that he's leaving his room and staying at the Springfield Inn so Nat and Rafe can take his place above Company.
Cassie paid Jeffrey a visit and suggested he fetch Olivia from the bar. Cassie then phoned Josh again and tried to comfort an upset Daisy.... Olivia and Jeffrey returned to Cross Creek, where Liv handed over the signed divorce papers.... Harley confessed to Cyrus that being with him isn't right now and she feels like she's cheating on Gus.

Over manicures, Lizzie said she didn't blame Dinah for taking over the
Spaulding house. In fact, Lizzie pointed out that the place were practically
staying in the family since Dinah is Bill's sister.
Joshua drove back to farm with his suitcase but was curious that Cassie's
car wasn't there. Harley showed up and was thrilled to see Josh moving back
home. She conceded that she didn't know what happened between Mr. and Mrs.
Lewis but Harley was glad that they were working things out. Josh looked
mightily tempted to blab about his wife's affair but kept mum. Instead, Josh
asked if Harley had any regrets about Gus. "Too many," she choked. After she
left, Josh picked wildflowers for Cassie, then decided to look for her.
At Towers, Cassie was worried when Cyrus revealed that Harley asked him to
move out. He assured that Harley doesn't know about their fling. Cassie told
him to lodge at Beacon and she also mentioned that Josh was moving home.
"Good," Cyrus smiled. Later, Josh showed up and Cassie rushed into his arms.
They drove home and tried to discuss what went wrong but didn't get very
far. "I've given you everything I have to give," a still-wounded Josh sighed
sighed, then went to unpack. Later, things were still tense when he left to
pick up R.J. When the guys returned, Cassie was disappointed when Josh
announced that he would be staying in another bedroom.
Because of freezing up while on duty, Mallet had to assign Harley to a desk
job. "Don't do that," she begged but Mallet said he had no choice since he
had to look out for the safety of his officers.
Cyrus went back to Harley's place to get the rest of his stuff. She was
surprised that he was still in town and asked where he was staying. "Does it
matter?" he dodged. He gathered his belongings and handed his house key back
to Harley. As Cyrus started to walk away, Harley cried out his name and ran
into his arms. Some lip locking followed and they had sex. After, Cyrus was
confused when Harley still wanted him to leave.
Alan jeered to Mallet that his rise in the police force coincided with
Dinah's new financial status. Later, Dinah informed Alan that Bill would be
running Spaulding Enterprises.
Bill told Lizzie that Dinah had taken over Spaulding Enterprises and that
his sister wanted him to helm the company. Bill offered to turn down the
proposition if Lizzie didn't approve but she gave her blessing.
